This thing is awesome. My 4yo loves it. We originally purchased this to be used on a long 16-hour flight. We gave it to her earlier to make sure she would be happy with using it for longer stretches. Worth it's weight in gold. It's thin and compact. Durable enough to be dropped on the floor and have my dogs walking over it without damaging it. She loves her drawing pad. She frequently asked for it. Now we always have to bring it while in the car. We even took a long drive to visit grandma. She played with it a majority of the way. Prefers this over trying to watch cartoons on a tablet. We practice letters. She shows grandma all her art. Very cool easy toy. I didn't find it super dim as some reviews mentioned. This is great for kids who like to draw, but you don't trust them with crayons or markers! My daughter loves it, and she loves the easy clear button at the bottom. The pencil has been lost, but the great thing about this tablet is that she can use her finger or any object to still make her doodles.

The tablet is a fun and entertaining toy. The “erase” button wouldn’t work and it couldn’t be enjoyed until we found a battery to replace it, which was a hassle.

I read a lot of the negative reviews and they’re all user errors. This has been a lifesaver for us. Our daughter(s) love to draw, but as a 3 year old we don’t let her use markers unsupervised or in the car. Now she just uses this and she loves it, especially in the car. Her older sisters also love playing with it. They used to say they were drawing together. Now they just admit they’re drawing on it for themselves. As for the negative reviews. Whoever said they needed 2 people to change the battery is ridiculous. It wasn’t easy, but it’s not 2 people. I had to use both my hands but it’s pretty self-explanatory. Also, I didn’t need to change the battery, I just wanted to test it out because people seemed to have issues with it. Someone needed a bent sewing needle to put the attachment coil from the pen to the tablet?! What the heck? Stop it. I think people love being drama queens about this stuff. If you pinch it together, there’s a wire in it that bends it so you can easily thread it. I did it numerous times just to test how easy or hard it would be. It wasn’t just slide on through, but it was relatively easy. Again, how would they even get a wired cloth thing through the curved needle?? For the price and the minuscule amount of work you’ll have to put in to entertain your child without messes or screens this is fantastic. Now I know what I’m buying the big kids for Christmas next year too! ... show more

My kids love this writing tablet. Very easy to use. Love how the pen is connected Ted so no chance of losing it. Lock button prevents accidentally erasing the picture which is nice.
