  • Great Irons!
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4-PW Set (7 pcs)
I purchased 2-PW and also a 50 degree wedge. These replaced an old set I’ve had for 20 years. The irons are easy to hit and are very forgiving. I’m 71 years old and it’s nice to have a great selection of irons to choose from. Easy swing and let the clubs do the work. With my age I just go up a club and get the same results as I did 10 years ago. Absolutely love the irons! Would highly recommend them! 1/2 the price of the well known brands with the same feel! You can’t go wrong! Nice job Lazrus! ... show more

I buy this for golf training. It is very friendly for a beginner and the price is nice for its quality. I have already recommanded to my friends who also want to join.

  • GREAT Club. But...
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 1 Iron Single
It only comes with one shaft option. I understand these clubs are designed with not-so-great golfers in mind but even some bad golfers have faster swing speeds. Even if they were just to add a stiff shaft option on top of the regular shaft, that would go a long way and my rating would go up to 5 stars. I’m a little bit better than the average golfer and my swing speed is around tour average, maybe slightly faster, so the regular shaft doesn’t work for me, I always draw it left, so I will be replacing it with an X-Stiff shaft soon. That being said... This club is GREAT. It is strong lofted for a 1 iron (13° vs. the usual 16°) so if you want a traditionally lofted 1 iron, Lazrus’ 2 iron is 16° and thus would fit the bill. This club sounds absolutely amazing. I have pure joy with this club in my hands, and once I replace the shaft, this will absolutely be my favorite club in the bag. I also like the fact that it’s not a driving iron. It is styled more like a standard long iron which gives me confidence that I can hit it out of any lie. My old 18° driving iron was great off the tee but I didn’t have confidence with it out of the fairway. I feel like I can hit this from the tee and from the light rough with no issues. And how about some low stingers? YES PLEASE. This thing can hit some monster low stingers that will make you look like Tiger. The grip is decent. Not great but not bad. It probably won’t have the most grip in the rain, but when it’s dry, it will more than get the job done! It’s a bit more rough to the touch than even a standard tour velvet grip, but it’s not uncomfortable. Finally, the club looks great! Along with the fact that I don’t care much for driving irons out of the fairway, I also think driving irons don’t look the best in general (there are a few exceptions). This club looks very classy and high quality. It doesn’t look like a cheap club in my opinion. For the price, I would absolutely buy this club again and again. It’s absolutely worth more than the price and it’s well on its way to being my favorite club. ... show more

  • Biggest bang for your buck. Perfect for beginners!
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4 Iron Single
Started golfing earlier this year and got a cheap starter set from Dick’s. As my game improved I felt like I needed better clubs but I wasn’t good enough for top of the line name brand clubs. I couldn’t justify playing thousands of dollars on a new set. I ran across Lazrus, never heard of them nor sounded familiar. But with the price so cheap it sounded too good to be true. I took a shot and got them. As soon as it got delivered I went to the driving range and Let me tell you, these clubs are AMAZING!!! They look and feel just like a premium club! Good club head weight, offset lie for forgiveness, and oversized with a cavity back. It has clean crips sound off the ball and shots feel great. If i had to compare them to a club I’d say they’re very similar to the Callaway XR OS. Not only was I happy with saving money I was more happy I got a really good club. If you’re a beginner and wanting to get into golf, these are perfect for you. If you’re on the edge going back and forth on whether to buy them or not, trust me, GET THEM! You won’t regret it. I honestly don’t think I will need to buy name brand clubs anymore. I’m just waiting for them to make drivers too ... show more

  • Clubhead weighting make it easier to hit
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 1 Iron Single
It's hard to find one irons for sale. Lazarus is to be commended for selling long irons (1,2,and3). One irons are alleged to be difficult to hit. It takes some practice. The weighting (toe weight and cavity back) made this easy to hit. It delivers a low wind boring shot that equals my driver off the deck but the iron is much easier to hit consistently. Even off a tee it delivers the low ball flight to cut through the wind. I'm happy to have a one iron back in my bag. If they made irons with a graphite shaft, I would go for a complete set. Finally, pricing is remarkably reasonable. ... show more

  • Good option!
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4-PW Set (7 pcs)
We got these for my husband. He plays several times a week, and was needing a replacement set for his previous 3 year old irons (he was missing a couple irons). Being later in the season, I was looking for a cheaper option that would still work for his game play. He was a little hesitant at first because of the cost point he thought that they would be cheaply made or would break after a few hard fast hits, we are pleasantly surprised that neither of those things are true, his only complaint is they don't hit quite as far as his previous set. He says these are a great set for someone who is starting out up through intermediate. Very forgiving when miss hit, and able to get the ball to the green. He might even keep them in the bag for next season instead of giving them to our son! ... show more

  • Best value irons?
Size: Right Hand Style Name: RH, 4-PW Set (7 pcs)
Have not given these irons a lot of time yet. Priced way below premium brands. Quality seems fine .. both the shaft and club heads. For me the grips seem "thin" even though my hands are not large. I may well get thicker grips. Distance? Not yet able to comment.... I've noticed the Lazarus hybrid irons and wedges seem to get more publicity? Drivers selling out? ... show more
