When opening the box beware of the plastic strong odor that emits from it. I had it aired for 2 months and it smell a little better. However the pieces were all nice, however the rod seems little too flimsy and the rod handle feels very plastic and hollow. But everything else is very nice with all the stuff you may need minus the cleaning solution and lube. ... show more

Original rating 3 stars: I ordered this kit to clean most firearms. I have hand guns and this kit looked perfect to do the job. Upon arrival, I opened the kit and a number of pieces fell out, where they should've been secured. The problem comes when you want to close the kit up, these pieces kept falling out making it very difficult to close. I have returned the original kit and ordered a replacement. I will update this if the new kit stays in place. This set had everything I needed, so I'm hoping kit #2 works as expected. Update: I did get kit #2 and was very happy that all pieces stay in place. That literally was the only issue. If they are all good going forward I'd give them a 5 star review ... show more
