It worked over all. To shallow for more than 1 square ramen at a time. The main issue is the strainer, just no way to grab it out of the thing without putting you fingers over steaming noodle or waiting till it was no longer hot, it lacked any kind of handle or grip.

When you live in a dorm, the kitchen is three doors too far. I had a mini microwave which was not big enough for me to put a full ramen bowl, putting me in a conundrum: Should I spend thirty extra seconds going to the kitchen? Do I want to see people wandering around, also wanting to use the kitchen? What if the kitchen is dirty? What if the other residents think I ruined the kitchen, even if all I use the kitchen for was to heat up a pack of Shin Ramyun? All the anxiety left as soon as I unloaded my pack of Shin Ramyun in the bowl. It's a perfect size. Like way too perfect. The strainer thing is very pointless unless you cook a specific type of instant ramen, but it's a nice to have feature. The only gripe I have is that the plastic is a wee bit hard to clean off the grease off of. Not sure if it's the material or the texture, but it takes a lot of soap and water to wash off the oil from the ramen. That said, I'd rather spend extra time washing that, than to contemplate going to the kitchen to cook ramen. ... show more
