11/16/2024 Update. I reached out to customer support at Lavinda and they quickly replaced my unit. Purchased September 15, 2024, died 6 weeks later October 31, 2024, after only 2 uses. After extensively searching for a nail drill, I chose the Lavinda. I love the design and attachments. Being new to doing my own nails I liked that I could use the lower 2-3 level setting. Unfortunately, the third time I plugged it in, the light briefly came on and then went dark. I expected more from spending $65.00. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! ... show more

I bought this nail drill because my dog chewed the cord and hand piece on my Makartt drill And I couldn’t get through to their customer service to get a replacement. So I decided to go with a different company. It’s only been a few months but so far it’s been a great drill. Very quiet and the speed adjust is perfect. I like that the lowest speed is slow enough that I can do my cuticles without it getting hot or burning my skin. ... show more

Title says it all. Not even 3 months and its dead- the dial to adjust speed is now nearly impossible to turn and when we can get it to turn the display shows an error. Run away-

I used to have my nails professionally done, but the years of artificial nails have killed my natural nails. Now I can at least have them look nice even if they are short. I'm also getting older, so having my own pedicure machine has made a world of difference. Sadly, I've also developed one of those thick nails which has not responded to pills. I was able to remove the majority of the thick mail and apply a medicated cream that seems to be helping. Now the nail is so thin with the help of the machine, the cream can penetrate the nail & nail bed. It's easy to use, and a selection of basic nail heads for my basic needs. I ordered extra disposable cardboard/rough removable heads so I don't transfer any gems from the bad nail to the other nails. Highly recommend! ... show more

I love this nail drill! I usually prefer a wireless drill, but I'll put up with a cord for this drill. I love the ease of use (it's super intuitive to use, but has instructions if you need them) it's easy to lock and unlock the shanks of the bits and I love the bits being different colors. Using a turn dial for speed and buttons for direction makes this really easy to customize how you use this. I also love that the guard is not a hard plastic, but a soft and flexible plastic which makes it easier to use because it goes on and off easier and can push against your hands if needed without discomfort or resistance. The only thing that I would like is if it was any other colors but white/pink and if the top had a drawer or holes for holding the bits. Overall very awesome drill kit! ... show more

I really like this nail drill. I'll keep it short and sweet: Pros: The base doesn't move around my workspace when using this drill. It's not a very big or bulky base. This means it takes up less space at my workstation which is important to me. The controls are easy to use and straight forward. I like the knob and I also think the display is bright and easy to read. This drill is powerful enough to use through an entire manicure, on low settings for cuticle work and higher settings for removing product from the nails. Cons: I wish the plug was a little bit longer. The base doesn't feel very weighted/heavy. It's really light and plasticky. That could be a pro for some, but I do wish it felt more sturdy. ... show more

This nail drill is amazing! It works as well as the ones that are used in nail salons but is silent.
