  • Breastfeeding is so hard, this helped me.
Color: Teal
Disclaimer: I only breastfed for a little over two months. My baby had a hard time latching, and with my husband being deployed for a month just after she was barely a month old, pumping and feeding began to be too much of a time toll on me. Having said that, while I was breastfeeding, my baby had a hard time latching. It led to me getting incredibly swollen breasts as my milk came in, and almost impossible to drain. They were so painful, and after awhile, I could tell as I was starting to get a clogged duct. I never made it to the point of having huge large lumps that protrude from my skin as I’ve seen in some pictures, but I definitely had painful lumps whenever I went too long from pumping, or something. The lactation consultant recommended two minutes of massaging each breast before feeding/pumping to help the let down process and getting your milk flowing. As what was basically a single mom trying to do it all just after giving birth, those 4-5min trying to massage my breasts before pumping for 15-20min, then giving the baby the bottle for 20min or so… breastfeeding became too much. BUT, this little vibration tool saved me so much time that I could stick it in my pumping bra or move it around as I was watching tv or something during pumping. It DEFINITELY helped getting my milk to flow and I noticed a considerable difference in the amount coming out during the same allotted time with and without the massager. I only bought one during a sale since I was trying to save money and not purchase a million things. When you’re in pain and struggling, you’ll just about purchase any and everything. I had a hard time selecting which one to get, and what was cost effect, and if I needed two… if you have the money, I guess two would be even easier, but personally one worked just fine for me. I’d switch between each breast at the halfway mark, or put it on the area of breast that felt knotted to help get everything out. A heating pad was something I already had, and with the battery life reviews of the massagers with heat, I felt those for the price were unnecessary. I still agree with that first assumption. The heating pad, when needed, which wasn’t very often as I began to get the hang of everything, does the job just fine. So anyway, if you’re looking for a massager or something to help with pump/breast feeding- I highly recommend! ... show more

  • Game changer for clogged ducts/exclusive pumping moms
Color: Teal
I decided to try this product after going exclusively to pumping when my daughter turned 4 months old. She had always been the one to unclog the most painful and stubborn clogged ducts for me via breastfeeding. My greatest fear was not being able to pump/provide breast milk. The first week of exclusively pumping I was in tears 😭 from constant painful clogs and almost gave up pumping. I tried hands on pumping and other hand massagers. Then I saw an Instagram ad for this and decided wth - I’ll try it. Best product ever! Here’s why: - the unique pointed/curved shape and ability to target clogs makes it useful for a variety of breastfeeding problems. The different settings help loosen engorged breasts or target specific clogs. I put this in my pumping bra while pumping in tandem with hand massage, and it works amazingly to promote milk flow. - small and discreet: I can carry it in my purse (bonus that it has a lock feature so it doesn’t accidentally start vibrating!) to work easily to pump - great design and materials: I’ve used it almost every day 3x/day with coconut oil, and so far it hasn’t sustained any wear and tear. Also washable. - terrific battery: barely needs charging (once per 2 weeks for me), and has a handy USB charger cable - long term results: in the beginning I had to use it aggressively to get rid of multiple clogs, at every pumping. After a few weeks, my body started experiencing fewer clogs and pain. Now, two months later I rarely get clogs. I just use it to stimulate let down for the first few minutes as needed. Amazingly I am now pumping MORE volume than before, and more easily. I am beyond satisfied with this product. It has saved my tons of anxiety, pain; and has allowed me to continue pumping for my baby through 6 months. Thank you La Vie! ... show more

  • Sweet relief
Color: Teal
Being a first time mama I had no idea just how much I would need this thing. At first I thought it was odd, but when my milk came in whew… I’ve got two words for you; HEAVEN SENT. This was the main thing that helped prevent clogged ducts and helped work out lumps where one was starting. I’m had tried massaging with my hands (between you and me so did my husband) and nothing worked quite like this did. If you are about to be a mama (breast feeding or not) you are still gonna want this. This is essential. My experienced mama friends had one common sentence when seeing this; “Where was THIS when I had my baby?!” ... show more

  • Very effective and helpful for milk clots
Color: Teal
Very effective and helpful for milk clots! I was initially going to return these and then found them to be really helpful. I thought they were a little extra in the beginning in terms of, did I really need them? And then as I continue to pump and breast-feed I was getting milk clots and this was a lifesaver! Needless to say my potential thought on returning them turned into a five star review. It has multiple settings which I tend to use just one. The battery life last a really long time. It comes with a cute little case. There are only two complaints that I have about it. One I wish it didn’t look like such an awkward shape… Lol and two I wish that it had a standard charger. It has its own charger so if I lose it I probably have to buy a whole new product versus trying to find a standard charger ... show more

  • Heat did not increase milk flow
Color: Warming
The massager is nice and helps with pain management of breasts. However, using heat caused my ducts to swell and I was unable to produce breast milk for a day. I had to consult a lactation specialist and they alerted me that heat does not help with milk flow. Please do your research before buying an item that says “improves milk flow”. In this case, it did the opposite for me. ... show more
