This coffee machine makes great lattes and cappuccinos, saving both time and money. It is fascinating to watch the milk foamer work, then to see the way the coffee is added under the foam. It is a one-step process to make a latte and cappuccino, as one does not need a separate foamer or process. From start to finish it takes less than 2 minutes. My girlfriend is a coffee snob and she has pronounced this machine as producing the best cappuccino and lattes she has ever had. I originally looked at the Lavazza Blue Classy Mini and then saw the Extra Classy Plus for cheaper than the Mini. I've had a higher end K-cup machine as well as a pump driven Gaggia Classic espresso machine. I've never had a machine like this and it works flawlessly. After using all 3, I'll stick with the Lavazza Classy Plus. Just as good of espresso without the mess of cleanup of a dedicated espesso machine. I was concerned that the frother top lid would be some cheap plastic. However, I saw that it was of a semi-flexible thick rubbery plastic and it is not brittle. The machine works flawlessly. Even my wife, who does not drink coffee, was impressed that I could make a macchiato with almond milk in less than 1 minute. Setup is easy, the machine is very sleek, very quiet and puts out coffee bar quality coffee. I also made my first espresso lungo with the push of a button. It still had a thick Crema on top. The other thing I like about this particular brand is the low cost of their coffee. It is much cheaper per capsule than K-Cup or Nespresso. You're able to get top notch espresso of a very similar quality as a coffee bar for around 30 cents per shot. To me, that is just a great deal. Right now, Amazon has an incredible deal on this machine. I think it was $138. Heck, the Mini Blue which only does shots of espresso is $178! Why not get the larger machine that can do so many other drinks, is able to use both Lavazza Blue or Extra capsules and also has a much larger water tank? I do not regret this purchase at all. Used one in my hotel during my recent Italy trip and decided to buy this when I returned home. Brews the best Coffee and Espresso. The pods are exclusive to this brand so you cannot substitute another such as the K cup, so keep that in mind. Bought a box of assorted espresso and coffee and have been trying them all, and so far they have all tasted delicious and fresh. The shipping company damaged my first unit so a second one was promptly sent by the seller. Great prompt and efficient service from them.     • Great coffee when it works
My first exposure to Lavazza was at a hotel in Pennsylvania. Espresso was delicious. The machine stopped working at the hotel after 2 cups Lol However, the hotel replaced it and I was told it was the first time they experienced a non working machine. So I came home and ordered one. Well, it only lasted 3 cups before the water light came up. It no longer works no matter what I do. The company is sending a replacement, but I’m hesitant since it is an expensive machine with obvious faults. ... show more

    • Best for easy espresso.
The media could not be loaded. One day, I will be one of those people that pulls my own espresso shot and steams my own milk, but I have four little kids and now it's just not that time. I randomly came across this machine one day and bought it that same day. Which is so off for me, I'm usually somebody who researches something 40+ hours before buying but i had never seen anything like this and decided to risk it. After using it for a few months now i can say it is amazing. I have a 10 week old and have been using this for over a month now. It's so convenient. I can do it one handed with a newborn in my hand. I used to make espresso with one of those push devices but that requires much more time that i just don't have right now. The coffee that lavazza makes is amazing as well. I have started to buy their beans for our drip coffee maker as well. The Italians know what they are doing, that is for sure. They always produce the best of everything. ... show more

    • Great coffee/espresso
I’ve probably had almost every combination coffee/espresso machine out there- Keurig, Nespresso ( both original line and Vertuo), Bruvi etc. All of them brewed lukewarm coffee at best causing me to have to nuke it which inevitably gave me super hot( almost too hot), bitter coffee. None compare to the Lavazza Classy Plus. It consistently brews hot, flavorful coffee and espresso. The milk based drinks are wonderful too and close to those you’d find at any local coffee place. Although their coffee and espresso selections are relatively limited compared to other coffee manufacturers, I’d rather have a good, tasty cup than overpriced coffee in lots of types/ flavors. Speaking of overpriced I think the cost of their pods are very reasonable - especially when compared to Nespresso who also requires a separate frother. My only regret- that I didn’t find the Lavazza Classy Plus sooner. ... show more

Love it! Wish only it came with two cups otherwise it’s wonderful! Easy to use and clean. Used pod reservoir is decent size and orange light comes on when full. Takes only less then a minute to warm up and be ready for a boiling hot cup of awesome authentic Italian espresso macchiato and cappuccino. I also get Lavazza pods. ... show more
