Of all the Nespresso-compatible options that I have tried so far, to me this is the best. It has that smooth, rich aroma that gives you that happy feeling when you're making coffee. The taste is very smooth and slightly sweet. I've used it for lungo and it works when I want a misto or more American style coffee. It's more affordable than the name-brand nespresso pods and I think the flavor is better than the majority. My only issue is the design of the pod makes it slip right through the slot so sometimes (I have a Breville nespresso Creatista machine) I'll think I put it in and when I press the button to brew, it's just hot water and the unused pod is in the discard tray. I haven't figured out a trick to really perfect that, so I just keep inserting until it stays. Very minor, and very worth it!! ... show more

I bought Lavazza Nespresso-compatible capsules before. The coffee was always excellent, but it seemed that the coffee inside the capsule would occasionally cake and ruin the flow, and the coffee. Am pleased to see that Lavazza has solved that problem, with an ingenuous fix. They close the capsule with a foil cover that is slightly domed. Tapping that cover gently a few times before inserting it in the machine loosens any caked coffee, and the flow is perfect. ... show more

Lavazza is a great tasting Italian coffee brand. For those of you familiar with Eataly, Lavazza is their main coffee brand. The Espresso Armonico is a 6 out of 10 in intensity and hits the sweet spot in terms of being strong, dark roast, but not overpowering. I bought the 100 capsule pack which rings in at just 27 cents a capsule. The cheapest I could find this elsewhere was at least 2X this cost. Other named brands are typically priced at 80 cents or more. The capsules work great in my Nespresso and because each capsule is sealed, they maintain their freshness for a long time. At two cups a day, the 100 capsule pack will last you a couple months. ... show more

I love Italian coffee and the flavor in this pod did not disappoint. Great value for money. I wish it was not a plastic capsule. The coffee was not as thick, creamy and rich as an original nespresso pod, but for the price it’s pretty good coffee.
