I bought this as a temporary solution to the western Sun living here in North Texas. After assembling this, I’m seriously considering using it every year and replacing the fabric components if needed. I’m in my 50s and a woman and I put this up 100% by myself. I laid the parts across my existing patio furniture for leverage and it was fairly easy to assemble. Putting the legs on and standing up the unit was a little tricky- just be patient and don’t over tighten so you’ll have some flexibility of movement. I hung the curtains on the frame before putting the top on because I figured it would be easier to access and it was. I used a long curtain rod to maneuver the top cover on- it was fun. Of course a kitchen step ladder was needed at times and this task was never overwhelming. I did screw it into the deck and it’s survived some fairly strong wind gusts so far. Everything was clearly marked and packaged and the instructions were very easy to follow. Note- my husband and sons were available to assist me if needed BUT as an aging woman, I use opportunities to challenge myself and the satisfaction is priceless. So- buy this gazebo. UPDATE: Our gazebo has been up for 10 days, and I'm happy to report that last night we had tornado warnings and some straight line winds of more than 60mph with torrential rains, and it came through completely unscathed! It rocked and rolled, but the anchors held it securely to the concrete and the covers and curtains, which were secured to the corner posts, were not damaged at all...VERY happy! Was not sure about this gazebo, but now that it's up...very pleased! It takes a bit more than one hour to put up, but younger people might be quicker. It's very well made and goes together easily. Looks great and really like that the expandable anchors came with it for our concrete patio...will see how it holds up once we get some wind, but I think it will do fine. Very happy! ... show more

I have had five previous Gazebos similar to this one. All cost more and were light years behind this one in quality. I had one fastener that was unusable due to its head being full of paint. Other than that everything else was straight and true and fully useable. It was a rare pleasure to find a product of such high quality AND at a great price as well. I have installed the earlier version of this gazebo in the past and I can tell you this upgraded version is so much better in a lot of ways. The main rails are heavier rectangle shape for superior strength, and to make the frame even stronger, that they added corner braces that really beef it up. Then instead of plastic pole anchors, they are now metal and a larger anchor plate with 4 drill holes and securement to the pole with 2 screws (the earlier version the pole could slip out). I also like the top roof better as instead of tie closures, all for sides have zippers. I like this much better. The roof panel also has some grommet holes along the edge I assume to help with airflow and exhaust hot air. And the top panel now has a screen all around it that it didn't have before that will help with keeping bugs out. Overall, this has to be one of the best budget gazebos on the market. Good instructions, easy to set up, strong and looks great. Very happy with this gazebo. ... show more

The thin material used is about the same as what you normally see on all of these products. What makes this one a step above is the design of the mosquito netting and the full curtains. It works really well. The design seems to have actually been considered before being produced. Like I stated, the materials used on the gazebo and curtains will most likely last 2, maybe 3 seasons and then we will need to see if we can locate replacements but compared to others we have purchased before, it is a pretty nifty product. The fact that is has netting and curtains is a really big plus. Very happy with the purchase. ... show more

This was easy to put together using the step by step instruction guide. It’s durable and has privacy panels as well as net panels that can be held back on the poles with the attached holders. We set this up on our patio to have a shaded cover over our patio furniture and a place to relax from the sun. We strung lights around the inside and bought bags that you put sand or gravel in as anchors to hold down the poles instead of drilling into the concrete. The whole set up is great! ... show more

The components were solid and the instructions were great. I was able to assemble it alone. The curtains used Velcro loops to hang rather than plastic rings which easily break with age. Had two serious wind storms after I put it up and it stood solid without ground pegs. I found putting the legs in heavy duty metal flower pots and putting gravel around the legs enabled me to move the corners and prevent tipping in storm. No anchors or rope/twine needed for stability. Only problem was putting the top canopy over last corner. Easier to put last corner on metal rod then connecting rod to top assembly. Excellent value compared to my last gazebo which was smaller and $200 more expensive. ... show more
