Overall the diagnostic portion of this scanner is good. I had no problems once the VCI was registered getting into the car and diagnosing the systems. The topology is nice feature, especially at this price point. I will update after using it more.

The car scanner is awesome and comes with fast and efficient customer service. As a mechanic for more than 30 years, I always need a professional scanner for cars, pickups, trailers, trucks... This launch scanner works very well on Honda Civic, Ford Explorer, MB... But when I hooked it up to the very first truck, it seems to have hit a problem. Fortunately, the technical support provides adequate customer service to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. Meantime, reminded me that there was an extra charge for this on the details page. I came back to read the page again... Alright, I overlooked this. Then, I paid for the software card to activate it and got the right non-16 pin connector. This is actually a very good product. Well thought out. It not only works for cars but also for HD Heavy duty trucks. So all in one ! Just the buyer needs to buy the HD truck software subscription if they need to work on HD trucks also. The tablet with 4GB ram just zooms through fast without any hiccups and the 64 GB internal SSD hard drive like storage is plenty and fast to do any tasks. For those who think that a diagnostic tablet will cover every make and model and every function must wait a very long time. No such thing in the market by any of the makers Even with it's HD module ability it is priced much lower than the other brands and that itself it's functionality for cars and HD vehicles puts it on top. I can't explain how satisfied I am with this purchase. It is really easy to use, just take it out of the package and update it. After updating it, I used it in my Toyota Echo 2005 because I suspected it was misfiring. This OBD II scanner showed me exactly what I thought the problem was, P0300, P0301 and P0302. That helped to test the ignition coils and find out #1 and #2 were not properly working. I just ordered a 4 pack of new ignition coils and after replacing them I'll use the scanner again and see how it goes. Easy to read and erase codes. Believe me, it will save you hundreds and the best part is that it only costs me around $35. ... show more

Scanner is a full function scanner. When you buy it, make sure to read the directions, the scan tool has to be activated before you use it. It's a fully capable Android tablet so you can pretty much use it for anything you would use your phone for. Wouldn’t read the ecm on a 2012 Tahoe but was fine with other modules. Worked well for VW tons of coding options and functions. Was cheesy with Subaru and other brands. Wasn’t really impressed due to the lack of coverage even though they say it will do certain vehicles I don’t find that 100% accurate. It’s also hard to decipher the differences between models. ... show more
