The detail on the artwork on this is great. I ordered the white one but comes in multiple colors to choose from. This is a larger bacon grease can so it stores a lot of grease. It also comes with a lid and a strainer which both fit on top well. The strainer drains the grease but has smaller holes so holds in the pieces. It holds the heat really well. It’s very easy to use.     • Wish it had a handle
It's a nice size container. Simple in design so cleaning is easy; all except the screen. A mesh screen isn't always easy. The lid fits nicely. But I wish the vessel had a handle for extra sturdiness. Sometimes when I'm cleaning my hands are watery and picking up the vessel as big as it is requires both hands for me. I would not be surprised if at some point I drop it. All that greasy goes everywhere. And I would have liked the knob ontop of the lid to have an edge. It's rounded in design. Right now I have no issues with it. But again knowing myself I can see a smooth simple rounded nub slipping through my hands. My 6yo son the other day dropped my lid to a teapot with the same design knob. He was "looking it over". Now with those "buts" mentioned I like the use, size and material. Even if I drop it, I doubt it'd break since it's made from metal. It may dent but not break. The strainer has a handle that is easy to grasp. Overall with this being my 1st ever official grease pot and not a created one from glass jars, I and my husband are happy. ... show more

This was exactly what I needed and has made my cooking easier and cleaner than my previous method. The screen does a great job however it doesn’t catch every little piece of debris from the meat. Everytime we cook bacon, we pour the grease in here. Then, when we cook with our cast iron pans, we use some of it to grease the pan for cooking. Very convienant and looks good too
