I wanted larger bricks that were not painted, these are great. Nice and smooth, but not slippery like our current set, and seem well made. Also a bonus they come in a wooden box you can store them in. I bought two sets, I have twins and I didn’t want any fighting over “he took my triangle” so I stained each a different color. They chose the colors. They take stain pretty well. I did not prep for the stain at all, just opened the package and started staining.     • Nontoxic, interesting shapes
I use this product to entertain my cockatoo. He is as intelligent as a 3 year old and needs mental stimulation. He loves the different shapes and I know they are safe if he chews them. They last a lot longer than the bird toys I used to buy him and don’t have chains he can get stuck on his beak.

    • Nice large unfinished building blocks
These are good if you are worried about your toddler chewing on stuff. I can't guarantee there aren't any chemicals in the wood but it looks like plain sanded pine to me. Definitely no stains or finishes. Should be great for my 2 year old niece.

This set of blocks is excellent quality. Each of the pieces is a larger size, making these perfect for younger kids who are still working on gross motor skills. Our son loves these and has already asking for a second set so that he can build bigger towers! They have been sanded very smooth, and are un-lacquered. These will last for years. ... show more
