This is now my 3rd mold from Crafted ELements. All 3 have been super easy and fun to use. This project is a 24x12 Olive wood and Resin serving tray. My wife is an artist and I am a wood worker. She has a bit more experience with resin than I do. This is a collaboration of ours. Lots of sanding left to do but it came out so perfect so easily I had to share it. I did not even use the mold release on this. I was to excited and rushed the process. I will say I thought it was gonna be hard and possibly damage the mold. COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. It peeled out perfect and with no effort. The mold is clean and just needs to be wiped down and she is ready to go. I am waiting for 2 more to restock and I will be purchasing those too. I know the price seems high to someone not using these molds on the regular. We thought so at first. Since using them they are worth every penny and more. This is super high quality thick resin. Perfect edges on this project. If I knew it was gonna be this easy I would have done better prep because it's ready to go out of the mold. Best purchase of the year so far. ... show more

I can't say enough positive things about the quality of this mold. It is Top Notch. The dimensions are just as described. The thickness is well. Thick. Lol It is very sturdy so there won't be any worries of collapsing sides, yet still flexible enough to make unmolding your beautiful creations hassle free. They sent an instruction card with it and a beautiful mouse pad for your computer. I can't wait to start using this. I will definitely be Buying more molds from this company. I LOVE this mold. I bought the recommended mold release as well and I have to say, demolding my huge hardwood board was a breeze; it was easier to demold this than it is to demold my coasters. The mold is also incredibly thick. I poured about an inch deep, and I didn't worry about the mold changing it's shape at all. I rounded my perfectly square corners for aesthetic reasons; and I did remove my board before adding the lacing. I don't think I'll ever need to replace this mold, and I've now got my eye on other sizes (I'm looking at you, circle). I cannot be more pleased and more impressed. ... show more

I received this on Friday and Saturday , had it out and ready to pour a board. Other molds I have , were a little more complicated than that. Silicone, screws, assembly etc. I would have had to build the mold with silicone and let it sit over night before the pour. This is the 4th mold have purchased from Crafted Elements. If need any other sizes, I will purchase from them again. I added pictures of the completed board fresh out of the mold and planer. I will trim it, round corners, finish coats of il and put it in our shop. ... show more

When I got this mold in the mail I was so excited I used it immediately. The size was perfect for the project I was doing, but I also noticed I can build a wall for smaller projects if needed. I’ve used many molds in the past, but this one is by far the most durable and simplified. I added a little mold release and my tray slipped right out when finished. So simple!! The media could not be loaded. I love this mold I am so excited! I am going to make small end tables with it! Please note this is not a glossy mold. It is super thick and heavy and sturdy. Very high quality mold.
