Parts were missing. Instead of returning the half packed package I simply used the tarp to cover another item in my backyard. I don't have time for going to the post office and waiting in a long line.

    • Sturdy and Easy to Assemble
We have a friend who likes to visit with their rather large dog sometimes, and our dogs don't like that one being inside the house, so we got this as a place it could relax when visiting. I got this built in about a relaxed hour, but I probably could have done it in half the time if I were focusing. There weren't any particularly difficult elements of the assembly. And once it's built, it's fairly easy to maneuver, though I can see it being a bit awkward if you're on the smaller side. We gave it a test run, and our dog visitor (a golden retriever) took to it immediately. We had a slightly rainy day, so we put in a dog bed on a slight platform, and the tent kept it as dry as you'd hope. We're hoping it will continue to provide that level of comfort as we go into the summer months. (We were also hoping our home dogs would take to it, but they just come inside the house instead.) One note is that if you live in even a remotely windy area, I recommend buying some sandbags. While this has some heft to it, it will absolutely blow around in the wind, and you don't want that to happen while an animal is inside. I will also say, and this is more hypothetical, that this could probably also be a useful item if you don't have a dog and just have some outdoor equipment that you want to protect from the elements. Overall, if you have a dog that likes to spend its time outdoors, this can be a really good option for a little home base for them. ... show more
