This was one of our daughter's favorite kits and she finished with some really quality wall hangers. We did have to help her with some of the mundane things like tying knots or prepping materials, but once we showed her how to do it, she took over. My only issue is that on two of the three projects, there are thin rails of wood that easily break and could make the project difficult to complete. We had a couple rails on the rainbow fracture, but I was also to use the string to keep it tight and apply super glue to rebond the wood together. I got these as my granddaughters craft project for her weekly visit. She loves all kinds of crafting as well as anything unicorn and rainbow related. So as you can guess this was a big hit. The kit contains everything needed for three different projects, and everything is of fairly nice quality.

This review is from a 9 year old. She liked this kit because everything you need was included, except for maybe a black marking pen or paint pen. There are three projects in the kit and they include gluing, painting and sewing/embroidery. It even includes the embroidery hoop. Here are the things she noted as negatives: some of the unicorn mane colors are a bit duller then shown in the pictures. They give you white paint to paint the unicorns face, however you have to paint over the eye too, which kind of dulls it out. This is where she wishes they had included a black marking pin so she could trace back over the eye. On the rainbow, the colors are bright but you can't change up the colors in any different order because they only give you so much of each color. The orange is a weird gold color. On the embroidery, the stickers are all the same color. While she was able to complete the three items in the kit, she felt it probably would have been a little difficult for a 6-year-old. My goodness. Dreamcatchers have been around for a long time. This craft kit by LAOESE is an ideal, no-mess activity for 1-2 kids. It includes everything needed to make 2 dreamcatchers including a felt background, 2 round embroidery frames, tassels, ribbon, pom poms, beads and letters to use to express your wishes. The finished products can be hung on the wall. The kit comes in a nicely decorated, giftable box. Each of the dreamcatchers comes packaged individually. It includes a small leaflet with step-by-step instructions but also has 3 codes on the leaflet to scan for more information & ideas for making these. The kit seems like a great activity for the manufacturer's age range of 8-12 (although I'm sure younger kids could do it with help).
