This Rock Paint Pouring Kit was a huge hit with my grandkids. This kit includes everything you need for a fun and creative afternoon: 10 flat rocks, 8 vibrant paint colors, glitter, and gems. The process is simple and engaging, making it perfect for kids and adults alike. Set your rock on a bottle cap as suggested. This helps keep the rock steady and allows excess paint to drip off. Choose your favorite color combination, pour them into a cup, and slowly pour the mixture onto the rock. Watching the colors blend and spread was mesmerizing! While the paint is still wet, sprinkle on the glitter for a sparkly touch. This step was a favorite among my grandkids. Once the paint is dry, use the provided glue to attach the gems. This adds a beautiful finishing touch to each rock. My grandkids loved every step of this art project. They were thrilled to see how their color choices turned out, and they were very proud of their finished rocks. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the provided materials were of good quality. The variety of paint colors allowed for lots of creativity, and the glitter and gems added an extra layer of fun and personalization. It can get a bit messy (but that’s part of the fun! There were no real directions for this, so I googled the kit online and found a video with different ways of decorating the rocks. I appreciate how it came with all the pieces (drop cloths, little pegs to hold up the rocks, gloves, paint). However, you might need more than 1 plastic up do do your painting. Overall, it is a nice little rainy day kit for the kids. I don't know how well the rocks will hold up, but they are quite pretty. Side note, wash your rocks off in the sink, because they are quite dusty. ... show more

This looked to be a great kit for kids parties, having everything you need in one box. In reality, it's close to having everything, with a few disappointing exceptions. It comes with two sets of rocks, paints, and decorations. There is a light colored paint set, and a dark colored paint set. Each kit has 5 smooth rocks in a zippered pouch, little packets of glitter, one set of 10 stick on jewels, 4 paint jars, a stir stick, two plastic gloves, and a small "tablecloth." The rocks are small, but not too small. The jars of paint are fluid, so still good. What's disappointing in this set is that the "tablecloth" is nothing more than a small square of plastic tablecloth, only good for one child to use at a time. Also, they mention a cup to mix paint in, but it does not come with a cup. There are only 2 jewels per child, and you know they're going to want to cover their rock in jewels. The plastic gloves are of the food handling type, and far too large for small hands. Also, with one one set of gloves per kit (so 2 in the whole package), that means you need 8 more to cover the 10 kids that would be painting rocks. I really think this kit ought to have come with a cup that has a pour spout, and more jewels, gloves, and full size tablecloth if it wants to be a comprehensive kit. Aside from those things, it is a nice kit. It looks like a lot of fun, and I'm sure the children in my story hour will have a great time pour-painting, with a few extra things that I have to provide. ... show more

Our 4 year old loves rocks. She will put them in her pocket to play with if she likes it. Or it's smooth. So I thought decorating rocks would be alot of fun. This kit made it so easy and came with everything that we needed. She had alot of fun making them and we plan to decorate more in the future. This was such a fun craft for my daughter and I to do together. She loved trying different color patterns to get different colors. The kit comes with 2 complete sets to do 5 light and 5 dark rocks. Each set has plenty of paint. I love that they included everything you need down to the plastic to protect your workspace. What a fun kit! It even comes with smooth, clean rocks! There is a set for dark colors and a set for light colors. All the paint, glitter and gems come with it. It's just a mix and pour craft. Let it dry and dazzle your friends! I would totally put down a plastic painting tarp or something while using this craft though- it flows over the rocks and all over the place. ... show more
