I needed an oversized tablecloth for a bridal shower I was hosting. Thought I’d order this one to see if it would work (regardless of the one review not recommending it for a formal table). Granted, it is not an expensive linen tablecloth, so manage your expectations, but I think it looked beautiful and worked great. Yes, I did have to cut the width down as these are designed to drop to the floor for event tables, but that was simple. I did iron out the fold marks from the packaging but, again, that was easy and all fold marks came out. The material is not shiny and the weight of the cloth gives a nice drape. Compared to another polyester table cloth that I had to return, this one seems to be well made from a heavier poly weave. It held up to washing well. Although there are still a few creases from being packaged, I suspect these will go away with further washing.
