The Lane Linen Queen Comforter Set ensures that you have a comfortable comforter set to achieve a quality night's rest. The Lane Linen set essentially is a bed in a bag minus the bed that comes with a comforter, flat sheet, fitted sheet, two pillow cases, and two pillow shams. The 7-piece set is vacuumed packed to conserve space when shipped. As soon as you wash and dry the set (specifically the comforter), it should fluff right back up. The materials of the fitted sheet and pillow cases are of microfiber that feels soft and comfortable on your skin. It washes up really well in the washer with no fading or discoloration. I would recommend, however, to NOT use fabric softener as it may leave a permanent stain on the microfiber material as the fibers absorb the waxy residue on the softener. As far as drying the comforter from the washer, I leave it to hang until it dries naturally and then pop it in the dryer for just a couple of minutes to fluff it up and remove any remaining moisture. There were issues on discoloration or damage to the comforter from the dryer. The Lane Linen comforter does have a soft, fluffy, and lightweight feel and keeps me warm through the night for a good night's sleep. Although the comforter is breathable and lightweight, I've never felt cold through my sleep. I am not sure if I like the geometric pinched pleats design but it doesn't really bother me at all. I guess if you wanted a uniquely designed set this would be it. But I would prefer the "no-pleat" design if it were available. In case you are wondering, the Lane Linen uses microfiber which is lightweight, soft, with a smooth and slippery texture. It's almost similar to soft smooth suede and does have good heat retention properties which is ideal if you live in colder climates. My Lane Linen fitted sheet did not shift around when tossing and turning at night nor did I experience any bunching on the materials. This is great because I hate having to fix and adjust my fitted sheets every morning when I wake up. The set is lovely and I would order it again if I wouldn’t have to worry about jumping trough all kinds of hoops to get a damaged item replaced. I got unlucky. The fitted sheet has a hole. Couldn’t contact the seller for a replacement, they only have a link to a website as option to contact them ( which doesn’t work) So Amazon Customer Service needs my ID before they can process my return ( never had that before) and then I have to return the entire set, which is huge ( it arrived here vacuum packed) Not worth the hassle returning it. I guess we can use it even with the hole. Other than that. I love the material. It feels soft and cool. I would have ordered another in a different color. ... show more
