No more waking up in the middle of the night sweating or trying to tuck the sheets back in or completely destroying the bed when I toss and turn at night. No more of those cheap crummy slippery sheets. This is the first nice set of sheets I have ever had. Should have looked sooner, they fit a thick mattress great and can actually tuck them in on the sides, that's a first for me. They are thick and comfy. Only thing I can complain about is that they stank soooo bad when I got them so immediately threw them in the washer, smell was gone after one wash and slept on them that night. They are on the pricey side which is why I didn’t buy anything sooner but glad I broke down and gave it a shot. There is nothing like Egyptian cotton, and the sateen weave of these 1,000 TC sheets offer a smoothed finish to the crisp, cool fabric. The fitted sheet is ample enough to fit over my king-sized mattress with a 3" memory foam topper. The flat sheet drapes nearly to the floor on both sides of the platform bed. The fabric is heavier than some other sheets but not as thick as damask; it's just right! Some may complain of wrinkles but I find them to be minimal, and I'm not bothered by them if they occur. It's worth the comfort to sleep on fine Egyptian 100% cotton rather than poly-cotton blend or cheap, petroleum-based microfiber sheets. I got a great deal on mine on Prime Day. I will continue to look for special offers on these sheets. My sleep improved the first night I used them. Treat yourself! I highly recommend! ... show more

These seem to be well made. I love the extra band of elastic around the corners and that there is elastic all around the entire edge of the fitted sheet holding it in place. They are not wrinkle free, but short of buying microfiber sheets, I've never know any of them be truly wrinkle free. Being 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton, I would have expected them to feel softer. I hoped that after a few washes they would become softer, but I've washed them 9 or 10 times now, and still they don't feel very soft. I have rosacea and textures are more pronounced against my face, so I'm a little disappointed in that regard. But overall, they are on the heavier side and have some nice features and seem to be good quality. If you're looking for the super soft cotton sheets, these are not it. But they are good quality. It is getting harder and harder to find true 1000 thread count sheets, and these are amazing. Oversized, crisp, they felt cool all through our heat wave. They wash a treat and dried and didn't look like wrinkled raisins. I always iron the pillowcases, and they stay very wrinkle free for most of the week. I love that these sheets also come in a split king as that is the mattress size we just ordered. I love all the colors that they can come in also. Very happy with these sheets. Very well made with obvious quality and attention to detail down to the hotel style pillow cases. Cotton is what I would call a medium weight and is as soft as the best sheets I have owned over the years. Very luxurious in my opinion. No issue with wrinkles if taken out of the dryer when still slightly warm and hems are even and lay flat. Fit perfectly and stay put on a 12” hybrid mattress. I got the denim color and after 10 or so washes the color is softening a bit which is actually more pleasing. Before they disappear I ordered a second set. Very nice. ... show more

Approximately 6 months ago, we purchased a new king bed and needed new sheets. After having queen sized, egyptian cotton sheets in the past (they lasted 15 years before they tore at the foot end), I decided to see what all the hype was about the thin, "cooling" type sheets for our new king mattress. Live and learn! They accumulated pills everywhere, within 3 months! You get what you pay for! We then needed a new set of sheets for our queen guest bed and decided to go back to the tried and true egyptian cotton sheets. This set has the quality I remembered from the past. The durability, softness and breathable comfort reminded me to NEVER go back to any other type of sheets. I will say that I prefer hanging my sheets on a clothes line - there is nothing like climbing into the scent of line-dried sheets each night! But there are times where the convenience of the dryer wins. Either method produces the same comfort for me. If slight wrinkles are unacceptable for you, spend the time and get your iron out! I just ordered this same set in a king size to replace the pill-ridden set of "breathable" sheets I wasted money on. And yes, they do get softer and softer with time! ... show more
