  • A few thoughts but not unhappy
Color: Cappuccino
The first comment is on the shipping....the day of delivery was ok, driver and helper were pleasant, helpful, and inside requested time. The company was awful getting to that day! I was called over 10 times in e days to set up delivery. It was changed 3 times by the shipper. I got so frustrated I called Amazon to complain. They were very good at empathy and did contact the shipping company, which helped. Second, this chair is higher off of the floor than any I have ever been in. The learning curve for me to sit comfortably was a few days. It is comfortable for a big lady though. The headrest does push your head forward some. The one thing is I can not reach anything on either side of the chair that is on the floor. A taller person with longer arms would be more able. I LOVE the double motors and being able to control feet and back separately. I would say the controller printing is a bit small but you quickly get used to the movement each button controls. I am delighted being able to sit up with my feet elevated. No other lift chair I have been is does this. It is wonderful! It was not as simple to put together as they say. There is no way a normal person could do it alone. It is too big and the 2 pieces are "connected" with a shared power wire. There are 2 power cords in different places. The instructions say everything is bundled together in a bag. Mine came all over the place. The instructions provided were worthless....4 pictures that did not apply to my chair. You tube was our friend. Last, the clips to hold the back onto the chair are awful to get into place. They did not want to snap together! My husband, son, and daughter all tried. My son finally got a step stool for some leverage to get it into place. He is over 6 foot tall and could not get enough power to attach completely until he could get over the chair to apply force from above. I have had other lift chairs as has my family. I am very happy with this one. I would definately buy it again. ... show more

  • Nice chair.
Color: Cappuccino
I love my new recliner, I dinged it a star Because of packaging, lack of instructions, and a couple piddling issues. Price wise I feel I got a really good deal. I did a lot of comparison online and Amazon, especially with the free shipping, had the best deal. I ordered this thing on a Saturday and Thursday morning it was sitting at the house. Can’t get any better, especially for an item of this size. My only complaint was is the condition Of the packaging. The box was all ripped up end it looked like it had been sitting around a warehouse for a couple of years. Other than that, and the missing documentation, the chair was in perfect shape. I had help getting it set up so I wasn’t that big of a deal. The one piddling issue that I had mentioned had to do with the USB and 110 ports. If you have anything plugged in you cannot close the armrest. The plug sits to high up in the drawer were you cannot shut the lid. I don’t see using them enough to make that a big issue. All in all though I really like my chair. I believe it is very well-built, and solid and most importantly very comfortable. The lift feature isn’t that important at this stage, but it may be in the future. Having just come out of surgery it is definitely useful at this point. The remote control is a definite plus. At the same time I ordered the chair I also ordered a cover for it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07V3JZCTJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title It has side pockets on the armrest covers for your remote, cell phone, etc. Makes it very handy. If you’re looking for a comfortable well-built recliner I don’t believe you could do any better then this one from Amazon. I would definitely recommend this to friends or family. ... show more

  • It’s BIG and well
Color: Cappuccino
Seems well built although 450 pound weight limit seems a stretch.... I’d recommend 350 max based on my experience with lift chairs. The overall size surprised me, the height and depth of the chair is for someone 6’ plus... at 5’ 10” I feel like a kid in dad’s big chair. And as someone else mentioned the head pillow does stick out more than I prefer kind of forcing a head down position. If I was 6’ 4” maybe it would be more comfortable. Good I suppose if you want to watch tv fully reclined but I’d need a pillow under my back to sleep in it. Also as others have mentioned if you want to use the 120 outlet or USB the left arm has to be folded open. The upholstery and fabric are good quality and plenty of padding. Al in all a great value for the price. Mine came with no instructions of any kind and if I hadn’t been familiar with power chairs would have needed help figuring it out, same with the clips on the backrest. One was twisted and would not have locked in place and the other side also needed extra coaxing to snap fully in place. If those clips and brackets aren’t properly inserted and LOCKED IN it would be dangerous. So anyone who is not familiar with chair assembly or power chair wiring be sure to order the setup service of have a skilled and experienced helper because without any instructions someone could get hurt or chair damaged. So great chair for tall person or someone who wants a big chair, once properly set up it should be fine but with no instructions I can see how there would be problems attaching back safely and routing and connecting wiring. ... show more

  • Still struggling to attach the back
Color: Espresso
The chair is very large and the seat comfortable. We've not been able to attach the back to the base. The brackets on each piece do not align, so have requested assistance/advice from the manufacturer. I feel we'll be pleased with it once assembled.
