I have really only ever used two eyelash mascara primers. When I first used Dior’s DiorShow mascara primer, I was in awe at how much better my mascara looked and I have since never been without it. I used it for years before trying Lancome’s Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Primer which I think I first got on a deal or as part of a holiday package. It is now on reorder and I think I like it better than DiorShow to my surprise! I still have both in my repertoire but I’m not sure I’ll reorder the DiorShow again when it runs out. But because I didn’t realize what I was missing all these years, I will be open to trying other primers to see if any beat the CILS. Meanwhile, CILS is my current go-to! ... show more

Like it but it lasts about 3 weeks and that gets expensive. I like the L’Oréal primer for a third of the price.

Nothing better on the market. Are used to spend $75 minimum every two weeks at the eyelash specialist. During Covid I opted for this product. I found that I could purchase this and the mascara for the same amount as I would do for one two week period for lash extensions. This product lasts a good 60 days and saves me a good chunk of money. Even though I can get extensions again I am opting to just continue to buy This product and use it prior to applying mascara. ... show more

Cils actually makes it look like I have twice as many lashes. I have heard rumors that Lancome is not going to have it any longer and I hope it is only a rumor!
