Make sure you measure the width of your couch from the back to the front so that you know of this is wide enough.l! We have a very old couch that was getting a little worn down. Part of the problem was the cushion stuffing wasn’t as fluffy and part of the problem was that the springs in the couch base were losing their “springiness”. I bought this to try to help with the springs - and poly fill for the cushions, which ended up doing way more than this. Our couch is an average, 3 cushion/person sized couch. The length of the support was perfect but it wasn’t wide enough. When you take off the seat cushions, our couch is about 27.5” wide. The support thing we bought is only about 16.5” wide. In the end, the support only ends up sagging with the springs because it’s not wide enough to reach the sturdy back and front of the couch. ... show more

It helps some, I had to order another one to get the thickness. It moves under the cushions so you have to keep pushing them in. It easy to use and versatile. The quality is good, but I bought 2.

The good part is the product was very sturdy and we anticipated to be the route we needed. Finding out we had a broken spring which is more of an issue to fix the problem with this product and having to ship it back. I will say that if I needed to use this again, most definitely would order it again. The ease of folding it if needed was great, but it pushed the broken spring down lower. The cushions didn't slip at all and very durable. I still give it 5 stars. Great product for future needs. Sadly we may have to get a new couch if I can't reattach the spring. The middle of my couch was sagging, because that’s where I sit on it the most. So I decided to buy one of these, and didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Arrived no damage and it was easy to install because all you do is open the plastic packaging and pull it out. I actually bought one a little bit longer than a standard cushion size and folded it in half and put it under the center cushion. After replacing the cushion the couch did look less sagged, but when I sat on it it didn’t give any extra firmness. When I got off the couch, it did look less sagged after having sat in it, but I still felt like there was little to no difference when I was sitting on it. And this was after I folded it in half, so it was not just one layer. If you’re getting this just for having your couch look like it doesn’t sag, then it works. But if you are looking for a not-sinking-into-your-couch feeling, I’d say try another one and maybe invest a little more money than this. ... show more

I have a cheap Ashley couch that's had heavy use over the last 4 years. The springs in the base are pretty shot leading to excess sag when sitting. I bought 2x of these to provide some support (multiple based on recommendations in the comments). Both fit as expected and do provide the support I was looking for. My only gripe is that these are overpriced for what they are. That being said If I can get 1-2 extra years out of the couch I would call that a pretty good deal. ... show more
