This Laminate Flooring Tool kit has everything you need in this one kit. Whether you have tongue and groove or click lock style flooring this kit will work for you. The kit includes a no-mar hammer, double sided tapping block, wall shim kit, and a steel bar puller for pulling the outside planks tight to your flooring. This kit is very ease and universal to use. I am just your average DIY'er and this kit worked very well for me to lay out our dinning room floor. We used tongue and groove flooring and the final results came out fantastic. Our floor is very tight and the included reusable shim kit worked great to leave a symmetrical gap on the outside perimeter of our floor for expansion and contraction. Your baseboard molding covers up the small gap and you will never know it is there. This tool kit did a great job of protecting the floor planks even with me missing a few times and striking the flooring with the hammer it left no marks. ***FULL DISCLOSURE: Item was received for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an unbiased review.*** So full confession, I got this set with no intention of using it on flooring, but the tools are still a great value for the price. Getting a decent quality mallet and pry bar for that price is already approaching harbor freight prices, and the spacers and jig have already gone to use in other projects. I'm sure it would work great for its intended use of laying floors, but even as a two-piece tool combo kit, it's still a great value. No complaints here, even if I did go "off-label". ... show more

    • Similar to all the other flooring tools, but the orange is pretty bright.
The spacers are easy to use, they are not just tapered, they are stepped to get the spacing correct. I've used a few different tools to do the flooring in my house, because things get lost easily. The fact that the hammer and the spacers are orange might help me keep these around for more then one project. The tapping block and the pull bar are just like all the other ones I have gotten.     • Must have flooring tools
If you've ever put in a hardwood floor, or are thinking about it, keep reading! I've put in three rooms of hardwood (replacing carpet). There are several tricks you'll want to know about. Assuming your room is square (not always true!), you'll want to use the spacers to start your flooring off so it's square to the room. As you place hardwood down, you'll find some pieces may not fit as well, the tongue might be a bit larger than it should be. You'll need to force the fit a bit. The plastic tool provided allows you to use the mallet to pound the wood together without damaging the tongue. Finally, as you get closer to the wall, there's no room to hammer or pry so you need the spacing tool. It's a plus that they added felt feet, so your new hardwood is protected. Thinking about doing some hardwood flooring yourself, that's great, but do yourself a favor and pick up these tools to help you do it right. ... show more

    • great little set
I've been through a lot of other brands of these sets. They work great if you dont try to over do it with them. If you do, you end up bending the tool but that's after several floors and some tight stubborn spots. This is the first one I've had with a dead blow hammer, I've always just used my framing hammer (which also may be why things got bent) I'm excited to see if there is a difference with the dead blow hammer. Everything looks like quality made pieces, I usually end up using 1/4" plywood for my spacers but the included spacers help if they wall is not perfectly straight. My review of the NAACOO Laminate Flooring Tools, NAACOO Vinyl Flooring Tools, Tapping Block for Vinyl Plank Flooring - Double Sided with Notches, Pull Bar Flooring Tool, 40Pcs Flooring Spacers, Rubber Mallet. I am not very excited about this flooring tools kit. The tapping block fit the groove of the flooring I have been installing so that is good. The shims seem to be fine and there are plenty of them. The hammer is okay but the handle could be a bit longer for me. Now the item that I do not like at all. The bar is not very good at all. I think there should be a bevel on the end that contacts the planks. But the part that is really bad is the location of the pads to protect the floor. I took a picture showing the bar in contact with the flooring and the pad is doing absolutely nothing. I circled the contact area in red. Using this bar as is would risk damaging your brand new flooring. It was easy to remove the pad and place it in the proper spot, but it should have been there from the start. ... show more

    • Great set of flooring tools that got the DIY job done well!
I was happy to find this flooring tools as it was just what I needed for my new laminate flooring remodel in my house. There are two main tools that you need, the hammer and the long bar that allows you enough clearance to get force on the hammer, yet it transfers the force to the other end to get everything all snugged up. There are also shims that also come in handy to keep things pressured up as you go. Great product that did not break the bank and was nicer than what i found in all the stores around town.
