When it comes to table + chair sets designed for toddlers and small children, there are tons of options out there. From antique/vintage simple wooden sets to brightly colored plastic sets with multiple functions, there's just way too much to choose from. Now Lalo seems to have entered the game with the perfect set for any toddler or young child! This table + chair set is absolutely beautiful, made with high quality materials, and seems to have been designed and built with meticulous care and attention to detail. Before we had assembled the chairs or table, we were blown away by the quality of each piece. The description states that the table and chair legs are made from FSC-certified beech wood. Being unfamiliar with the industry, I googled FSC, which stands for Forest Stewardship Council. FSC sets standards for responsible forest management, and certification "ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits." So not only is this company focused on great design that parents like, but they source their wood responsibly as well. The plastic bucket seats on the chairs are made from non-toxic plastic, and according to my daughter, they're very comfortable. And wow, it was SUPER easy to assemble! There are four screws, and and then everything else clicks together securely and safely. My husband, a very discerning engineer who can find fault with most products, was pleasantly surprised at the quality and design. To me, this is a perfect little table + chair set. It serves a function, is comfy for kids to sit in and eat, do homework, draw/paint/sculpt, and is super easy to clean! All you have to do is wipe it down with a damp cloth. Not to mention the aesthetic is incredibly pleasing. Some kids' furniture screams "BABIES LIVE HERE AND THEY'RE MESSY AND LOUD!"
