Like all Lalo products, this a- frame tent is pricey, but well made, aesthetic, and perfect for little ones. The tent looks just like the pictures. The legs are a perfectly smooth beechwood, with rubber feet to protect your floors. The canvas top is heavy duty and seems very durable. It is a very minimalist design that will fit seamlessly into any home. If minimalism isn’t your thing, and you are crafty, the canvas would make a great base for you to decorate or paint with your own designs…add windows, window boxes with flowers, stripes, gingerbread details, etc! Assembly was very easy. Most pieces just click together, then a few screws are needed to finish. The canvas tent fits easily over the top and has elastics that fit around the legs to hold it snuggly in place. The tent is a little bit smaller than some I have seen. We have a smaller home, so the small footprint is perfect for us, and I like that the tent will fit through doorways fully assembled. The tent is the perfect size for 1-2 kids to play comfortably. My 21 month old can even stand up inside comfortably. Adults will fit, but it is tight. My husband or I can sit and read with our son and few pillows and it is very cozy, but we can’t really play in there with him. Just something to keep in mind if you have multiple or bigger kids. The tent does not fold up so easily that you would want to do it every day, but it does break down into flat halves if you want to store it away or need to take apart to move around the house. Just use the end of a paintbrush or chopstick to push in the pin on the top plastic connector piece and the a-frame will break into the two halves. Would make a great gift for any toddler. We set this play tent up for my son to come down to Christmas morning. I strung twinkle lights around the frame and hung felt snowflakes from the top bar. My toddler loved it! He had so much fun playing with his new toys in his own little space! ... show more

This play tent is the most incredible space for a toddler. My son is nearly 2 and has gotten so much joy from having this little spot to crawl into and make his own. I cannot say enough good things about this product, and the price point is definitely fair for what you are getting - this will last us years and years. Assembly is fast and easy, with the long poles just clicking into the top so it's easy to take down and store in a smaller space as well. The durability is incredible, both the canvas and the frame. My son has been pretty rough with dragging it, leaning on it, and sitting on the sides from the outside. It has held its shape and feels no worse for the wear. The canvas goes on and comes off very easily too, so washing it is a breeze. It's a great size - taller than I expected!! My tall toddler doesn't have to duck to go in and out, and I can sit in it with him without hunching over. Such a perfect, well thought out product! ... show more

This is a great little play tent. It doesn't take up much space, so it's great for small spaces. The neutral color means it can go with any decor and you could decorate it if you wanted to. Makes a perfect reading nook or a space where your kiddo can go and decompress--so many possibilities.

    • Just What We Were Looking For!
I had been searching for the perfect tent for my toddler to play and relax in, and this is the one! The frame is easy to put together and the whole thing is sturdy. It's neutral looking, so it can be a rocketship, a pirate ship or anything in between! It's tall enough for my 36" tall toddler to walk in and out of without stooping. I like that the flaps close completely, but are also easy to tie back. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for! We gave this to our 2 year old as a Christmas present and it has been a huge hit with both mom and toddler. I know it will facilitate lots more imaginative play, as well as give her a place to hide away and read books or play quietly. I'd definitely recommend this tent! ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the construction for this tent. It required some assembly - but it was pretty easy/straightforward. Happily all of the screws fit in well and were easily tightened with the included wrench. The material is canvas - and feels like it will really be able to hold up. My toddler goes in and out, in and out, opening and closing the flaps (not very gently). It feels like when her grubby fingers make marks on the tent I will be able to give a good scrub spot cleaning without damaging the material. It's just tall enough (she's about 3 feet) - she figured out she just clears it. It's a very homey private space for her - I love it. I added a rug and some string lights. I love catching her in there reading her books ... show more
