They’re much softer than fancy hand-stitched rugs that are 10x the price. I loved the feeling so much that I got this one for my bedroom. I was a little worried about buying this one since it had so few reviews on Amazon, but I liked the modern pattern and am very pleased with the result. In overall, I really like this rug. The color is really nice, and it’s nice and soft. I took a star off because it’s really thin. This does make it really difficult to vacuum. Spot cleaning is pretty easy, though. I did put a felt pad underneath it, and it makes it very comfortable to walk on. With the difficulty I have in vacuuming, I would say it might not be super functional. I have it in the living room, but it might be better in a lower traffic area. I don’t care, though. Very Nice Rug! I love the color, softness, design and the fact that it is machine washable. Just wish it was a little thicker. I have it on a hardwood floor and it feels like you are walking on the bare floor. It does stay in place and does not move. Would buy again despite it being thin.
