I purchased this multipurpose arm jack after I witnessed a friend lift her refrigerator up with minimal effort. This is a must have gadget! A never ending list of things that it can be used for. I couldn’t wait to use it while remodeling the kitchen. It helped tremendously to lift the floor marbles to desired height and to hold them in place; It made the job a heck of a lot easier. well worth the money! I use it regularly to clean under the sofa too! The build construction is similar to that of a car Jack~ It also operates quite similar As well. These are very well made, it handles heavy items well but if suffers from two design flaws. The prongs that provide the lift are smooth and slanted downward which causes any heavy item from slipping off. You can rough up the surface which should help. The other problem with these lifters, and I don't know if any other model has resolved this issue but when you release the pressure, the heavy item comes crashing down. There should be a way of lowering things with more control. I was able to lift a heavy washer/dryer and a refrigerator with these. ... show more

I am a single 65-year-old woman and I love a good furniture mover, but sometimes I can’t lift the furniture to get the moving discs underneath the feet. These were heaven! It's like having an obedient, strong helper at your side! I'm a senior and don't plan to instal drywall but have two of these. I use them to help me move things without damaging the floor, lift things my fingers are no longer strong enough to get under and other similar tasks. They are great! We were getting our dishwasher replaced and have had problems with repair people not protecting the floor well. I didn't trust the I got the dishwasher out by using this to raise it so I could put floor protectors under the metal legs and there wasn't a mark on the wood floor! When the wheels on our large BBQ grill unwelded themselves from the cart, this enabled us to lift the grill without tipping it over. ... show more

As a home renovator, I have a vast assortment of tools. After all and as the saying goes: "use the right tool for the job". Well, I didn't previously own a Labor Saving Arm Jack and was actually sent an e-mail from a competitor and it tweaked my curiosity, so I did some looking on-line. After checking multiple websites, I found that the Labor Saving Arm Jack (2-Pack) was the best-bang-for-the-buck and I ordered a pair. Having now used the product for over a month, I've had the opportunity to put these handy little gadgets through the paces while hanging doors, drywall and installing kitchen cabinets. This a tool that I really didn't know existed but now wonder how I did without them for so long? I often work alone and the use of temporary shims and many pinched fingers are now thankfully a thing of the past. These are affordable, well made, versatile mini-floor jacks that should be in your tool arsenal if you work on things as I do! ... show more

There is no room for error when placing under what you plan to lift if using on furniture or appliances. The forks if a bit longer would make life a lot easier. They slipped away from the item I was lifting making the project much harder than it should have been. Great for drywall, plywood and the like, but not the best for furniture or in my case, my kitchen island. The spring also sticks when using out of the box, so put a dab of WD-40 on the spring so it will function properly. This particular product seemed a bit on the cheap side.
