I have been using this product for 4 weeks and continue to be pleased with the soothing and hydrating results this cleanser has on my very sensitive, very dry mature skin. I had been loyal to a premium brand cleanser for over 20 years but found my skin felt tight and dry after use. In addition it didn't appear to be effective anymore in reducing pore size or blemishes. These uncomfortable limitations are eliminated completely with this product.     • Simple, gentle, effective, and well-priced

This has been my cleanser of choice for half a decade, and for good reason. I like that it's both gentle and effective. One issue I've had with other cleansers in the past is getting the dreaded "tight feeling" in my face immediately after using them. That feeling is caused by your skin being stripped of its natural oils, which results in dry skin that is more prone to damage. You want a cleanser that gets rid of any impurities (cosmetics, sweat, ect.) but doesn't end up doing more harm than good. This cleanser by La Roche-Posay gets that right. I've never experienced that uncomfortable tightness while using it. But it gets rid of anything that I need it to. After washing, my skin feels clean with no irritation, and I can proceed with the rest of my skincare routine without worry. In addition to being a good product, it's also priced reasonably. I don't see the logic in shelling out a lot of money for a cleanser. It only stays on your face for 60ish seconds. Whenever I've used an expensive cleanser, I've felt like I'm literally throwing money down the drain. So I gravitate towards the "drug store" category of cleansers, and I feel like this one's the best out of the ones I've tried. There's some products that don't have to cost an arm and a leg to be good, and this is one of them. You get a good amount of product in each bottle too. I use it twice a day and one bottle usually lasts me at least 6 months. You don't need a large amount for it to clean effectively either. The Toleriane Gentle Face Cleanser does its job and it's fairly priced. I've considered it to be one of the cornerstones of my skincare routine for a multitude of reasons, and I look forward to keeping it in my rotation. It's treated my skin well. ... show more

This cream cleanser is ideal for all skin types including people prone to redness, sensitivity, dryness. It's fragrance free, doesn't dry or irritate. Thoroughly removes makeup and leaves skin feeling clean. I find it soothing and prefer it over alternatives. I absolutely love this stuff! I use it after washing with exfoliate. It makes my face feel so soft. I only use a small amount, like the size of a pea, it lasts longer. The price is a little high, but I like the fact it doesn't dry my face out. I have sensitive skin and most soaps and cleansers end up drying it out. It also works well to remove make up and oil. Use it before bed and feels like my skin is soft and lasts through the entire night.
