Although I do like that brand, I didn’t like their primer on my skin. ELF gel primer is too thick for my skin and made my makeup blotchy even after exfoliating and using a serum under it. I couldn’t believe how well this worked as I had a long day and wanted my makeup to stay on. It did. It gives your face a smooth face to work with when applying your make up. Sidenote, if you have dry skin, your complexion will not look Dewey. But give it a try it really does work well.

I was really considering the very expensive brands for a primer. After some research and reading reviews, I decided to try this. I am SO impressed! It truly does smooth out fine lines before I apply my foundation…which is also this same brand. Save your Penny’s and give this a try first!!!

I was skeptical about this product. I'm a natural kinda woman (64 yo with good skin) and don't like toxic perfumy products that don't also nourish your skin. This really works as a primer! Tired of paying high prices. Looked up toxicity level in EWG.org - it's higher than I'd like but for the price it's OK. This stuff is great! smoothes out wrinkles and texture areas, blurs and lifts. Doesnt stay wet or gooey, dries down so you can put foundation over it without baking. It is also buildable so if you have scars, deep wrinkles, etc, you can apply this several times or generously in order to achieve that buildable coverage. No scent, no residue. Pink colored primer goes on smoothly and you don’t need to use a lot to give yourself good coverage. I’m shocked at how smooth and silky it makes your skin feel and my makeup glides on over it. I wanted to see if an inexpensive primer/wrinkle blurrer could work as well as my $69.00 il makiage. This one out performs il makiage hands down. I feel really stupid for falling for the ads on Facebook. My hints are this, save your money and use this product. Start by first cleansing your skin well, dry, use a good collagen moisturizer, let that penetrate well then use this primer all over face and if you put foundation on your neck use it there too.
