First, this is good coffee, maybe not quite as good as Nespresso's pods, but quite drinkable, at a reasonable price. Recently they've switched their packaging from cardboard boxes to clear plastic bags - the result being some pods get crushed, rendering them unusable. I hope L'or gets it together and returns to the more protective packaging. Otherwise it's back to the drawing board to find a Nespresso substitute. ... show more

Honestly, I try to find organic original-line Nespresso pods that rate pretty well and are not priced too high. The brand I've been purchasing for the last year or more disappeared, so I purchased these. They seem to have a good flavor. I wish the price was a little less, but it's hard to find good coffee pods in the price range I prefer. Since I make lattes with white chocolate syrup and milk, I don't completely taste the flavor, but I have had some really poor brands where I can tell the coffee does not taste good. I traveled the world for business and hands down, for the price, flavor and aroma and smoothness, I challenge you to find another brand that comes close. I have been buying L'OR for some time now. The problem with many of the cheap capsules is that they do not work well with the machines: the capsules either flex too much or their cover is not tight enough. The result is that the machine does not perforate them correctly and the coffee flavor is not extracted as intended. the L'OR capsules work every single time, have a good variety of flavors and are more economical than the original ones with the same quality ... show more
