  • Does what it promises
I have 77-year old skin that suffers from rosacea and is beginning to have some almost noticeable dark spots. The Green Corrector handles the rosacea redness very, very well, as well as any darker spots on my face. It took me a couple of time to learn how to apply it, and then it’s easy peasy. It does feel heavy on my skin, but maybe that’s psychological, because being retired, I wear nothing but moisturizer on my face daily around the house and even running errands. But when I want to absolutely look my best, this product gives me a nice even slate to apply my makeup. I only apply it to the areas on my face that need concealing, and it works very well. ... show more

  • I wish I knew about this stuff years ago.
Green: I am 34 and just found out about green concealer. I wish I learned this sooner. This stuff is amazing at covering the redness on my cheeks. It honestly makes a big difference. It's a bit thick and hard to blend in, but absolutely worth it for the results. The green concealer from NYX is even better, ( thinner, easier to spread) but it comes in such a small quantity that it's gone in a few weeks. I can already tell this will last much longer. Just a tip, the green primer sold on Amazon from NYX is awful. It goes on almost clear and does nothing for redness. Orange: I never expected to buy orange concealer. I am used to very basic stuff. I can't believe how well it helps the blackish-purple color I constantly have in the corner of my eyes. To wrap it up, if you have red cheeks and blackish-purple eyes, seriously buy this stuff. It's amazing. ... show more

  • Bright, hard to spread
I don't normally write negative reviews on inexpensive items but I felt compelled to, because this got some high reviews everywhere (not just Amazon). The green is a very bright green and it is very hard to spread evenly. Used a sponge to try to spread but it comes out blotchy. When I add more to the bare spots, the entire area just turns more intense green. You have to apply a ton of makeup over it, otherwise the green shows through and I look like a corpse. Giving it 2 stars because, well it's cheap. ... show more

  • Works too well - a little goes a long way
This product does what it says. Within a couple seconds, you can see the red on your face instantly disappear. For me, this product worked TOO well. If I used more than a few molecules of it, it made my red skin turn grayish-white. It was quite ghastly. So, I used the teeniest amount and then covered it with foundation, and the results were near perfect. Two things I don't like. First, the tube has a brush applicator which is weird and most unuseful for me. You squeeze the tube and a bunch of product oozes through the brush and then you have to figure out what to do with it all. Second, this product makes your skin completely matte, but not in a good way. My skin turned grayish-white and the added matte made it look like drywall. So, again with a workaround, I added some oil to my already oily skin and then applied the green concealer and again good results. Having red skin is a lot of work. With the workarounds, I do like this product and will probably purchase again. ... show more

  • Waste of money
You can't win with this. I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about. It doesn't matter how little you use it leaves a clay mask type feel. It doesn't cover red pigment either. I could turn my entire face green with this and still have redness showing through and I have a more light olive complexion so there isn't a ton of redness to begin. With. If you are like me and thought it works help with redness from acne, it doesn't. Don't waste your money. ... show more

  • Difficult to use
I wanted to use this product to cover a small red facial scar from a recent surgery to remove a mole. I found the applicator brush that is a non-removable part of the tube difficult to use for areas that need a very small amount of product applied. The brush is large, and you have to fill it with a lot of product no matter how much or little you need. This means a lot of product is left in the bristles of the brush and dries out between uses. I also had an issue where the product irritated my skin and resulted in a large pimple after the first time I used it. I had been using a color corrector from Elf with no issues for a few weeks, and I went back to that. One final note, the green color is quite dark. If you have fair skin, this is likely too dark a green for you. ... show more

  • Not the right color for me
I wanted to color correct redness with green and this was not the right color for my cool toned skin. I think the product would work well for other skin tones, just did not match well for my cool undertones at all. Product does spread really really well! However, I wanted it on specific spots and not necessarily able to spread to my whole chin. Product not for me and I didn't want to have to wait for it to dry after applying for 5 minutes before doing concealer. ... show more

  • First time user
I am over 40 and have always had a reddish cheeks. I've never had a peaches and cream complexion. As age has taken hold, I've also acquired some lovely broken capillaries on my cheeks. I've only used it once (after I watched a tutorial, I'll be watching more as the instructor was in her 20's) and it did a fair job. A little goes a long way. Make sure you blend your foundation well. You certainly don't want to look like the Hulk. I'm going to keep practicing with this and maybe even add a yellow in for under the eye to brighten that up. ... show more
