    • Didn’t go on smoothly. Seemed dried out and had to continuously layer. Very disappointed.

I don’t know if this is a faulty item or if it is always this difficult to put on. I watch the tutorials on how to use it just to be sure, I shook the pen while I wiped it on a wet cloth to moisten it as needed but it still seemed dry and didn’t flow smoothly. I had to layer it again and again to get the color to darken and not look worn off and over layering made it start to peel off in spots. Since I couldn’t get enough paint on the brush to make it go on thick enough to make clean lines it was definitely hard or more difficult than it needed to be to make wings or cat eyes. After struggling with it for a while I finally said it’s not great but it’s good enough and quit struggling with it when I came back in an hour and looked in the mirror edit already started to smudge off The wings especially at the edge of My eye. I’m really disappointed because I’ve heard such great things about this eyeliner and I’m desperate to find one that doesn’t smudge or peel or flake off and give me darker circles under my eyes that I already have. It’s not a bad product compared with some but it’s not the miracle liner that it’s touted as. As a low income single mom I’m really sad because it was my one splurge on myself because it is so expensive. And I was really excited to have some thing that made me feel pretty but instead I spent the night cleaning up the eyeliner smudges beneath my eyes that made me look prematurely old dirty. So much for trying to do something for myself or to look nice. I had high hopes for this product now I’m depressed and trying to figure out if I can return it. But it’s possible I got a bad batch or tube so I don’t know if I would recommend it or not I guess it depends on if you have the money to waste in case you to get some thing dried out and difficult to apply. So I’ve used this product for about 2-3 weeks now. I want to love this but I don’t. The ease of applying is amazing and I do like the precise lines you get from using this and it’s easy to control when applying. However, if you have naturally oily skin or use face moisturizer before applying makeup, this product will smudge or transfer to your upper eyelid. I use oil free moisturizer and colorscience foundation and with that being said this smudges at some point within 2 hours of applying. I’ve also tried applying powder to my upper eyelid to keep it more dry than the rest of my face and this does not usually work. I will say, if you don’t typically have oily skin and do not use products that keep your face “tacky like” or super moist-this might work well for you. Strangely enough even though it does transfer on me, it takes some scrubbing to get it to come off in the shower. The other downside is, if you don’t store it upright the tip dries out pretty quick. It’s not worth the money I’m my opinion. There are likely better products out there for the money. ... show more

This is going to be a 2 fold review. 1. This is a great eyeliner! I put this on, and went about my day. My eye itched and without thinking, I rubbed my eye. Normally by this point, my eyeliner will be smudged everywhere... when I took out my mirror to look, the eyeliner was in place, no smudging, wasn't even worn off. It stayed on all night. It didn't smudge or smear or fade at all. When I washed my makeup off for the night, it came off nice and easy with a little water. So this is an excellent eyeliner. This is the first eyeliner I have seen that actually does what it says. Stays on all day, and doesn't smudge. Was VERY happy about that. 2. This isn't the best temporary tattoo pen. Most of my temporary tattoos last a few days. I have one that I made several days ago that still hasn't washed off. This tattoo pen works to a point. I drew a heart on my wrist, as soon as it was dry I covered it with baby powder (to set it in. just use a makeup brush to brush it in and brush off the excess powder) once I did this, it didn't smudge or smear. It stayed on nicely. If it gets a little wet however, it will smear if you touch it before it dries. You have to let the area dry completely before touching it. If it gets a little wet and you let it dry before letting anything touch it, you're good to go. However, once wet, it washes off really easily with a washcloth. you don't need makeup remover, soap or anything. Just a little water, and one or two scrubs with a washcloth. So if you are looking for really temporary, temporary tattoos, it works... but it comes off really easily, so you may have to carry the pen with you to touch it up if it gets wet. So as an eyeliner - A++ As a temporary tattoo (emphasis on the temporary) - B+ it's definitely worth the buy if you're looking for great makeup and a fun tattoo making pen. ... show more
