This is a great sauna. The unit was delivered in 3 boxes to my front door. All boxes were in good shape and not damaged. The shipping company was great to work with, providing text updates and delivery was earlier than expected. I removed each piece of the sauna from each box and moved them individually to our home gym for assembly. This made it easy to carry each piece and also gave me room to work on assembly. The packing material takes up a great deal of space so I recommend unpacking, then assembly. All pieces were in perfect shape and nothing was missing. Once in the gym, assembly was easy and only took me 30 minutes to complete alone. The back and side walls insert into a base unit then interconnect with hidden hardware. This is a great feature and makes for a seamless exterior design. After the walls and base were interconnected the wiring is easily pulled to the top cover and interconnected via 4 access panels. (Two person assembly is recommended and would be even easier.) I installed this unit in a closet by removing the closet slider doors. The unit fits in the 48" opening with about 1/2" of room on each side . This unit is deeper than most others I looked at this price point. My closet is roughly 46" deep so the sauna fits with extra space behind it. It almost looks built in. (See Pictures) I also installed a dedicated 20 Amp electric receptacle for plugging the sauna in. The sauna will work on a standard 15 Amp plug, but I wanted a dedicated service to limit power drops on the remaining receptacles or lights in the gym. The unit is a perfect fit for a single user, although two people can fit snugly. The redundant controls (outside and inside) are easy to use. The controls are only in Celsius. The unit can be set up to 65 C (150 F). There is a timer setting as well. LED colored lights provide many color options. The sauna also has LED white lights for reading. The Bluetooth unit is easy to sync and the sound is good quality. I recommend turning the unit on for 20 minutes before use to reach your desired temperature. The seat is sturdy and deep which provides comfort and a non confining experience. The heaters do get hot, so take caution when leaning back against the wood slats not to touch the heaters. The door heater is a great addition in comparison to other units I looked at, providing heat from 360 degrees. I installed a small essential oil diffuser (Purchased through Amazon : ARDILA VEELA Sauna Cup Holder) that is a great accessory as it releases scents when the oils get warm. We have used the sauna probably an average of 4 days a week and have had great experience with it since February 2023. We noticed that the first few times we used it, our bodies did not release much perspiration. As we use it more, we are experiencing more rapid perspiration. We feel energized after each use. This is a well-made sauna that is easy to assemble. It is essentially a one-person installation except that two are needed for the front panel (heavy) and maybe the top panel. It was less than 3 hours to unpack, carry to basement and fully assemble. We previously had a 2-person sauna that we sold with our prior home - it was a buckle-assembly model. This sauna is superior to the larger sauna and this one is more airtight. It heats to 140 in less than 20 minutes is is very efficient. The Bluetooth speakers (they are stereo) they work well. There is nothing negative about this sauna and we highly recommend it!!! The sauna arrived earlier than the projected delivery date and we've only used it for three days since then.     • Not Great for Uneven Floors

This is a really nice sauna, but just a few things to note: The panels fit together with a male/female connection, and if your floors are uneven, it's difficult to match them. Our 100 year home has hand-poured concrete floors that are just uneven enough to make this unit difficult to assemble. We wound up having to shim the floor to level it so the panels would meet. The sauna we replaced had an easier, "clamp" system with the hardware visible, but they cinched together. Now that we finally got it up, though, it's a nice unit. Took a bit to heat on the first try, and the lower panels won't heat without the "foot care" enabled, but it does the trick and looks really nice. We like the corner positioning and the glass that allows more view from within. ... show more

This was completely worth the investment and I wish I had made the purchase sooner. I’ve now had this for a month and a half and have used it daily, sometimes more than once a day. For background, I live with chronic pain that has been managed through more physical and holistic means versus through medications. That does not mean I don’t take meds, it just isn’t part of my daily regimen. This is the one person mini. We have it situated in our basement workout area. The basement in the summer is normally around 75 degrees and probably 65 in the winter when the heat is blowing. The corner it’s in is along the exterior of the home and is insulated behind the drywall. The general temp of the sauna when I turn it on will normally read 77 degrees Fahrenheit. It takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes to reach its max of 140 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s been pretty consistent since we’ve had it, that’s with the foot car panel turned on. It’s a one person sauna and compact but we have enough room to sit, move around a bit, and read. We got a backrest for it which takes away some of the seating space and with the way the cross beams are over the panels really wasn’t needed. The speakers work fine and connect quickly. It’s not surround sound but does great to listen to an audio book or meditation music. The interior is unfinished and we clean it once a week with water and vinegar using a sponge. This includes wiping down the foot panel. We have it plugged into a non-dedicated outlet that shares electricity with our home office and TV. We haven’t had any issues there. Additionally, I have been able to compare electric bills from the month previous and the first full month of use and the increase in electric usage was minimal. From what I could break down it equated to less than a day worth of A/C use in Virginia during July for a full month of daily sauna use. So we’re talking a couple bucks to have it plugged in and running at max temp for an hour to two hours a day. (Two of us using it separately) Some benefits we’ve seen. Reduction in baseline pain level (half to full number on the 1-10 scale), average resting heart rate went down 4 beats a minute, skin is clearer and she’s had fewer rosacea flare ups, better levels of hydration (drink plenty of water before, during, and after), faster recovery from exercise, and better sleep. Tracking my sleep, since using the sauna I wake up less often. My overall time asleep hasn’t changed but the duration between waking up has extended so the quality of sleep has increased. We have been looking to add an at home infrared sauna to our home gym for the past year or so and now that we have this we wish we would have done it right away.
