I got them for my 4x2x2. I got the smaller sized one, because I want different types of 'terrain' environments for my dragons. It ALMOST covers it, it covers a little over 3/4ths of the tank. It was funny my male doesn't like to poop on his pad he likes it so much, he finds a designated corner on the tile to do his business. He refuses to dirty this up. I really like them, they don't hold bacteria, they get great traction, and don't slide around their tanks. My only problem with this, is when my female uses it to go to the bathroom, i wipe it with paper towel, then i use a wet paper towel clean it, then a dry one and then I use the vet grade cleaner and I STILL cannot get this white residue that is left behind where they used the bathroom. I don't understand it. I haven't figured it out yet. I would buy this again but i bothers me that its these white spots make it seem like its dirty when i can ensure its not dirty. ... show more

This would have been great if my gecko didn't hate it! It's good quality and easy to keep clean. Really easy to put in if you have your measurements right. Looks nice too. Unfortunately, my gecko couldn't walk on it well. Its pretty slippery and he stayed in his hide. Back to paper towels!

I got this for my tortoise enclosure, and it has really helped me keep it clean. I am able to just pick it up, fold it in half, and dump the waste and bedding stuff the directly in the trashcan and then hose the mat off. It is waterproof and is meant to be washed directly, so I really like that I don’t have to go in manually get all of of the waste out of the rank like I did previously before getting it. It’s also very easy to cut with regular scissors. That way you can cut it any size or shape that you need for your specific aquarium or terrarium I was able to just cut it in half and then the pieces next to each other to make it wider and not as long and it works perfect. It’s also very discreet underneath all of the bedding inside of the aquarium you can’t even see it it is black, so it just blends right in with the dirt. ... show more

Using this to line our new bearded dragon reptile enclosure. It is easy to clean and rinse off. Droppings and dirt doesn't adhere as much as it does with other heavier textured liners. Fit my ReptiZoo 85 Gallon tank with some minor trimming.

My wife and I just became the proud parents of a baby bearded dragon, and after a lot of research online we decided that a plastic substrate would be the easiest to use especially at first for cleaning up any messes that are baby might produce - through bodily functions or just running around his cage. This was very easy to roll out and measure in our 40 gallon tank and so far it has worked beautifully. It is easy for our baby to run around on and it is so easy to spot clean.
