Features

  • Excellent fuel economy and a long tread life - the result of a dual silicone compound engineered to cool quickly. It runs colder, lasts longer, and improves fuel efficiency.
  • Exceptional grip and stability in heavy rain and snow. Four deep center grooves channel water away quickly.
  • Engineered for traction on ice, with tiny winter sipes creating thousands of small gripping edges.

Description

An exceptionally comfortable all-season performance tire, with a tread optimized for wet traction and a compound engineered to last. The rounded shoulder design keeps a continual contact with the road for excellent cornering and tight, responsive steering on the highway.

  • Great Tires From The Company That Makes Them For Mercedes Benz
Size: 225/70R16 103T
From the man of the house: I got these for our Honda Element. It's a 4-wheel-drive-on-demand vehicle, so all 4 tires have to grip the road even in icy and snowy conditions. I had tires with a heavier tread on the SUV before and they were noisy! We lived with it for the 50,000 miles those tires were rated for -- but this time, I was looking for a quieter ride. These Solus TA11 tires deliver that. They're a little wider than the original tires that came on the vehicle, but that was deliberate -- I like the added grip, which I can really feel while cornering. And they are a lot quieter! Although the product info doesn't say much about it, we also selected these tires because (apparently), if you get a flat, you can still drive up to 50 miles on the tire! That's a bonus I'm a little nervous about and will only ever test in an emergency, but I'm glad to have it. I hadn't heard a about the Kumho company so I did a little research. This is a huge South Korean tire manufacturer with sales all over the world. What clinched the deal for me was that Kumho is the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) of tires for the Mercedes company. This is the first time I've ever purchased a full set of new tires from anywhere but a tire store, or big-box retailer such as Walmart or Costco, which also installs. However, the price was great and in the end, I had no trouble getting a local tires-only garage to mount them, do a high-speed balance, and install them on the vehicle. Overall in price, I came out far ahead of purchasing equivalent tires locally. The all-black tires good on the vehicle, with their subtle but attractive design. Most of all, these tires feel great on the vehicle, operate well on the highway and on the local gravel roads in our rural area, and provide safety on the road -- and again, the price was excellent. • Delivered the next day.
Size: 215/60R16 95T
I woke up to a flat. After changing tire and driving to work, I immediately ordered two tires on a Friday morning. Tires arrived by noon Saturday. Had them installed by Monday. This was my second set of Kumho tires and very pleased with first set. Great value for decent tires. I live in an area where we get all four seasons. Very good traction in ice & snow. ... show more

  • Good tires, Good price.
Size: 205/60R16 92T
Pros: +Smooth and pretty comfortable ride +Very quiet tire (I now have less tire noise than wind noise) +Low rolling resistance (enables consistent 40+ mpgs with my Mazda 3 on my 12 mile freeway commute to work) +Priced lower than anywhere I can find Cons: -205/66 tire sidewall bulges out far too much Unknowns: >treadlife >winter traction >emergency maneuvers/handling ... show more

  • Great Ride!!
Size: 215/60R16 95T
I bought these tires based on the reviews on Amazon, and I’m not sorry I did, not one bit! They ride quiet and smooth on my Nissan Altima! Much better than the Goodyear Tires I had purchased 3yrs ago. I’m hoping to get 75K miles on these before I have to get another set. The Amazon Price was worth it to have alignments and installs cost 200.00 and these tires were 333.00, which in the end saved me 40.00. ... show more

Size: 215/60R16 95T
These are great tires! I had another national brand on my Camery and the road noise was horrible. These are nice and quiet and the ride is great! I will stick to this brand from now on!
