I was amazed at the 10X side. It really shows things you never knew was there. That could be a good or bad thing. Lol. It has different lighting effects and the glass isn't distorted. I've been using a hand held mirror with a 5X side for a decade and finally broke down and got this one and it's perfection. Hands-free! The price was so reasonable for such a quality mirror. Great mirror! I love that is has a chargeable light feature. I don't understand why the light comes in 3 tones but otherwise it's great. I had a power outage one morning getting ready for work and used the ring light on this to finish up. Surprisingly useful.

We bought this mirror to replace an old lighted mirror with incandescent bulb and AC power that died. We had to return the first KuMers mirror we received - while it came pre-charged and worked fine for about a week, after recharging it once, it wouldn't turn on again. The replacement mirror we received from Amazon worked fine out of the box, too, and after two recharges (after a week's use each time), it's been fine. By the way, as one other reviewer pointed out, there is no separate LED indicating that the battery is recharging or fully recharged - the bottom portion of the lighted ring glows red while charging and green when finished. Since that glow may be hard to see, it's recommended that you charge it in a darkened room. ... show more

Love love this mirror!! Charge and go or leave standing! Had to do makeup on the way to wedding, lighting so bright, mirror perfect size and 10x magnification is AWESOME especially for someone who wears glasses, held t with stand-base optional. Bought 2nd for travel, it's very slim for suitcase.

I ordered this light up mirror thinking it would be good for applying makeup. The first one I ordered charged up once and worked for a few hours before running out of battery. When I charged it up again it wouldn’t light anymore. Figuring it was a lemon, I returned for an exact replacement and the exact same thing happened!!!! I will not purchase again and I will look for a different brand with a higher rating. What a hunk of junk!!!!!!!! ... show more
