These connectors work great. they seem to provide a good connection and so far I have had no problems with any I have used. Only drawback is that a heat gun is useful or something providing fairly high heat is needed. When I need more I will buy more.

I saw these used in a YouTube video and they work great. I used them on my sons car when I had to wire up a temp sensor for an aftermarket gauge the had wire run from under the hood. This did the trick. I used a heat gun to shrink the connector because I was tight on space and didn't want to use a lighter and melt something I didn't intend on. So far so good. Simple to use and I don't need to try and crimp anything and end up pulling the splice apart and having to cut and redo it. I'll be getting more to have plenty on hand. ... show more

This product works, but to get the included solder takes a long time to heat up well enough to bond securely on bare copper. I found that coating each conductor with solder before inserting into this product makes for a much better, lower resistance connection. I'm amazed at how hot the heat-shrink can get without burning or failing. Hot enough for the solder to melt just not enough for it to flow easily unless the conductor is already coated with solder. ... show more
