  • I wanted to like it
This item worked great for about 1 yr. with only very occasional use. Sometimes if I disconnect power to it for a few minutes it will reset and work again for a week or so. My car has a current draw that I can not trace. I purchased this item to prevent my battery from discharging when I am not driving it. My battery has discharged several times because it did not work. Replacing with a different brand. ... show more

  • Works great for the $$ spent!!
Used it for a side post so had to do a custom install however it worked exactly as described and the range the remote has is amazing, I've been doing alot of custom work to my 95 Chevy G20 Conversion Van and being able to shutt off the main power to the vehicle remotely while working on wiring in the back then turning power back on to check my work is amazing saves me time so I can get the wiring done quicker and also makes a great theft deterant cause you can't steal what you can't start!! I give this simple yet effective solution ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars thanks! ... show more

  • It works
The remote sometimes requires multiple pushing of the button to engage the battery. This happens while standing next to the car and with either remote so it isn't a problem with range. On the positive this works on the negative terminal which I consider safer. My friend likes this so much he is getting one for his car ... show more

  • Very Limited Range
I installed this on my daughter's Mitsubishi Lancer to solve a battery drain issue that we couldn't locate. At first it worked reasonably well, but the key fobs had to be right next to the car. After a few months, the range became so short she had to raise the hood of her car to get it to work, which sort of defeats the convenience of this sort of kill switch compared to a "knife switch" design. We replaced the batteries in the key fobs, but after that, only 1 fob would work, again at close range. Within a month, the range is back to where the key fob may or may not work when the hood of the car is up and the fob is inches from the switch. I'm now looking for a replacement that will be easy to install and with much better range. ... show more

  • Works well as a remote control switch
Easy to install. Use it as a remote control switch for my trolling motor in my boat. My motor only draws 30 amps. It does seem motor to have any problems starting and stopping motor at full draw. I do not know how much load it could handle for making or breaking the circuit but it does seem to handle 30 amps. ... show more
