She definitely does what I need her to!!! She's a lovely little addition to the family. The ONLY negative downside was that the "shealth" or "covering" for the blade didn't last longer than a few days before sliding it in half. Don't depend on that to keep it safe in terms of snagging yourself or something else. it's quite sharp, understand that. This is NOT an axe you want to use for throwing as the weight is not balanced. This axe is specifically for doing some good old fashioned wood cutting. I use It to cut back tree limbs without killing my entire tree(s). Definitely would reccomend. But if needed, it can absolutely cut down a larger limb. Not a tree though lol. ... show more

The build quality is good and the edge cover is a nice include. I bought it to split dried storebought log bundle fragments (firepit wood) into even smaller pieces for use with a rocket stove. It does NOT do well splitting wood as advertised. I'm striking pretty hard but I don't want to go much more aggressive considering the size of the strike target. A miss could be dangerous with a tool this size. I'm assuming it's too lightweight. Not sure what it's use will it be to me, but I'll keep it. ... show more
