I love the comfort of these straight bones. I'm so happy with how well they stay in place. I'd never tried straight jewelry before; just L-shaped or screws. I was very hesitant after buying some L-shaped on here which were way too long for my nose. The "leg" of them actually touched my septum. Be sure to compare the mm of the bar length on these and others when you're shopping. These at 6.5-7mm would be a little short if you have thicker nostrils, but they're plenty long enough for mine. I'd been wearing 20-gauge, but I thought I'd try 18-gauge since these are straight, thinking a snugger fit would keep them from coming out. I was right! My piercing is 18 but for whatever reason I'd been buying 20. Be very careful to look at the gauge before you add them to your cart, because some are 22-gauge and almost nobody has a piercing that small. Those would go right through the hole if you have an 18-gauge piercing, and would wiggle around if you have a 20. As for the stones, they're cute, but not as dazzling as you see in the photos. I wasn't expecting them to be all that though. They're pretty for the price. They have some opalescence, but not "that" much. The 1.5 mm is really tiny. I'd probably go with 2 mm if I bought them again. Go with one of those if you want something very small that lays flat against your nose. Be aware that a 3 mm stone is big to most eyes. I have two different size nose piercings, because one closed up a bit during healing. So, I have to have two different sizes to wear. I always have trouble finding the wider gauge, but I hit the jackpot here. The price is perfect, the sizing is perfect, and the variety is excellent. I got gems and opal studs. The gems are bright and sparkly, and the opals are fiery. They're gorgeous. I'm sensitive to fake metals and I've had zero reaction to the four that I've worn from this pack. 100 percent saved this listing to buy again, because I've searched for a long time for the proper size at a decent price. I struggled so much with a piercing bump after getting my nose pierced. Tried every remedy out there and it wouldn’t go away. Turns out it was the giant l shaped/corkscrew stud that they pierce you with that was way too big and irritating for me. I bought these to switch it and I love them. Super easy to pop in and immediately starting easing my irritated nose. They stay in place and you don’t feel them at all. There have been times where I accidentally rub my nose too hard and it comes out a tiny bit, but the end catches it before it goes out the outer layer of skin. I took a chance here because majority of what is available just aren’t my type and look way too big. First off, know your gage size. To my knowledge most places pierce with a 20G needle best way is to contact your piercer and ask like I did. Then know what size of ring you want by the MM size. The top ring was from my tattoo parlor so I wanted a ring smaller in the L length but same size of jewel. I ordered the 20G L shape rings in 2MM. Happy because you’ll notice the smaller is close to my original nose ring. Although I love that if I want something a little bigger each jewel does get bigger but not overly big. I have to wear a mask for work still so smaller works better so they don’t catch on my mask. No missing jewels as you can see and every color is simple to match anything I wear. The length is way better because my original I got tired of it sticking out of my nose. So overall these were exactly what I wanted! ... show more
