I just started picking up archery and know that an arm guard is absolutely necessary. This one does the job! But for someone who is smaller, the arm guard is somewhat long but otherwise works well.

The elastic bands are a little large, but the padding is very light and sturdy. Worst-case, you can cut them shorter and sew them. Definitely worth the money.

Be careful and use a ruler against your arm to determine the size you need. I made the mistake of trusting a posted review instead of verifying. That reviewer must have really small arms and that's why they cautioned to buy a smaller size. I am not a large guy, in fact, I'm five feet and six inches, and this 7-inch armguard is not big enough for me. ... show more
