I am not short but rather a tall woman. Ever tried to enter a tall truck or car with a skirt on??? So anyone that is of a shorter size would benefit from using these..sturdy, study handles. I love these door handles giving me extra help. I can get in, and out, easily and comfortably. The Greats LOVE to be able to brag that they can NOW get in, and out of Pops and Grand truck without help. They are not flimsy. It took a time or two practicing how I wanted to use these handles. It is different than trying to have to "crawl" into the truck. Once I figured out how I wanted to use them it is easy to step up and get in. NO longer do I have a backache or twist my ankle trying to get in and out. Got this for my 80 year old dad who has trouble getting in and out of a 2016 Toyota Corolla. He was skeptical at first but tells everyone he can about how well it works. The handle is lightweight but feels very well made and sturdy.

I recently have had knee surgeries and still have a hard time standing up after sitting. This is such a simple, effective solution for assisting getting out of a car. It works just as well for passengers as for a driver. The hook part doesn’t hit or damage the paint. The only thing that has given me trouble is the little plastic cap that covers the metal window-breaking point. If you keep that on, when you go to pull the tool out of the door hook, the cap WILL pop off and roll away and you will have to bend over to retrieve it. I’ve just been using it without the cap to cover the point and so far, so good. ... show more
