These are made of a tube of styrofoam with the lights in the center of the tube. You have to be careful not to step on them if they fall. But overall I would buy them again. They are good for a purpose and light up REALLY WELL depending on the setting. My daughter uses them as night lights when she gets them and they last in her bed roughly 6 hours. Im glad I bought these glow sticks. I bought them for a party and they were a hit. They come with a foam body, so you don’t have to worry about hurting someone when you’re waving it around. It’s has three different strobing effects. I highly recommend these, especially for such a great price.
