Got this to redo brake lines on my 99 forester. For copper lines it did okay. The flares aren’t the best but I think they’ll hold. I got the titan brand flaring tool at the same time and it did heaps better for just a little more. Okay if you’re making your own lines out of copper but not steel

    • Clamp wouldn't tighten down enough to hold

I had to use the tube clamp of another set to hold the tube tight. The clamp would bottom out and not hold the line for 1/4. Did not try the others. but the dies and the dies press did a great job when using the clamp off a set where the dies and die press was junk.

I did an entire Nisan Titan Pick up with this tool over 14 perfect copper and replacement line seals made. Only issue I found was that if you try to flair a factory line the line tends to slip the tool rather then form the flair grip can’t hold it
