I really like this set of dinnerware. You get 4 large plates, 4 smaller plates, and 4 nice sized bowls. The plates have a nice lip or edge to them. So they work great at containing sauce or juice, and great for kids trying to scoop their food up. You can easily slide your food against the edge instead of the kids using a finger to keep it from falling off the edge of the plate. They feel really nicely made, durable and thick, but not so heavy they're hard to work with. They say they're not only microwave and dishwasher safe, but also freezer and oven safe. I can't say how well they hold up to the oven, but work great in dishwasher and microwave. They also stack really nice and evenly in the cupboard. The bowls all sit nice and level when stacked, that normally doesn't happen. The taller edge of the plate does make it a little trickier to fit in the slots of my dishwasher just right but they still fit and a trade off I'm willing to accept. The price at $65 was a tad high but it's currently reduced to $35 and that is an excellent deal. I'd say $60 or below is a good price point for a high quality product. ... show more

This is a great set. It stacks perfectly and therefore takes up less space and brings peace inside our kitchen cabinet. Most bowls are notorious for not stacking properly and risking tipping over if more than 2 or 3 are stacked, but that is not the case with this set. The plates are large with a generous vertical lip to hold food or sauces in. The entire dinnerware set looks so updated and not like anyone's grandmother's china so they could do double duty as serving pieces too. We have 3 generations in our household and all 3 generations loved this set. The white is a true white, clean and crisp. The bowls are larger than most and can hold a full serving from chili, soup, yogurt, ice cream, popcorn, etc. This set is sturdier than regular china or ceramic, like for restaurants, so it is a bit heavier, and that is to be expected for extra durability. Needed to stock up my son's new dorm room with "stauff" and first on our list was a set of dinnerware. Something that will hold up to the abuse of him and his roommates and something that will stack up easily to conserve on shelf space. This set of dinnerware from Kook meets the requirements perfectly. This 12 piece set consists of 4 soup bowls (BIG soup bowls, holding 31.5 oz!), 5 salad plates and 4 dinner plates. The bowls and plates stack very nearly together, and look amazing. They are both microwave and dishwasher safe which is an absolute must for for anything we get for our son's dorm. This is a very nice-looking 3-piece place setting. It includes dinner plates, salad plates, and soup bowls. There are no cups included which suits me fine since I rarely use included cups. The plates are notable because of the raised rims. The bowls are large. It is all easily stackable and fits together nicely. They are a good fit in my rather crowded cupboard. They are made of heavy ceramic which should make them durable. The description states they are safe for the oven, dishwasher, microwave, and freezer so they are also versatile. Unfortunately, one of the dinner plates arrived chipped. This makes them unusable as a set since I do need four settings. It is a huge disappointment. ... show more

I love this ceramic set. Everything was packaged well and I saw no chips in anything. I love how deep the bowls are I like that the plates have a lip on them so it’s easier to keep food on your plate, some meals it’s easy to push food off the edges. We will see how they hold up over time. I do like that they’re easily stackable. Very happy with this set so far ... show more

I like them. They look good. It's a nice set. I like the plates a lot, I like that the lip of the plates raises up, making it better for dishes with lots of sauce or gravy (or just keeping things from rolling off). It's a good style. They seem made well, I didn't find any flaws.
