Bought this a few months ago since it's pretty rad looking. It's a super basic coffee maker. Just a two-option on/off switch. It spills whenever I pour water into the top or coffee into a cup. You can't have the filter holder attached if you want to put the coffee pot in the unit with the top on to keep it warm, which is annoying. On top of that, there isn't a heater to keep the pot of coffee warm and there is little to no insulation in the pot. I'm sure some of this information is in the description, but want to reiterate it here. If I had a friend asking me if they would recommend this coffee maker, I would not.     • Almost a Keeper-Updated!

Seemed to be a used unit. Looked new, but the brewer started boiling the water about half-way through. I didn't realize it wasn't supposed to do that unit it started boiling the water from the start after a few pots. I then cleaned it, and it worked like it should have. The carafe simply doesn't keep the coffee hot long enough. It's powerful, and quickly brews hot coffee. I asked two questions here and no response. I emailed using the address provided in the brochure, response undeliverable. Emailed using the website's address, no response. It's almost a keeper. Perhaps a few engineering tweaks and it would be great, if the company is still in business. UPDATE: I am VERY PLEASED with the company's response. They explained the problems with their website, and wanted to make things right. I can heartily recommend giving them a try. They do have a glass carafe model. Pros; the coffee is DELICIOUS!! If you fill the carafe with hot water before brewing and put lid odd soon offer completion…it stays very hot. Con: No timer…you can’t get a cup until it’s done brewing. Might be with all this style of carafes, but reheat is only possible by microwaving a cup.

Pros; The bloming feature works well. The coffee is as good as if not better than my espro. The controls are easy to use. Cons; the lid for the carafe fits crazy tight. The basket is too short, making it easy to snag the filters on the driper, causing them to fold down and let grounds through. (Edit. The replacement filters I got fit fine, not sure why it comes with extra tall filters.) This doesnt happen often, but is shouldent happen ever. The switch could be improoved with an auto reset after brew. That is it. Is there room for improvement, yes. Is it a great coffee naker, yes. Do I recommend it, YES! ... show more

    • Drips do not stop for a long time, lid hard to use

Unfortunately I bought this coffee maker as a gift for my dad’s birthday and I passed my window to return it since I purchased it so early. My dad has used it a few times now and does not like it. There’s no way for him to get any coffee without waiting for the whole pot to brew or it would spill everywhere due to having no auto shut-off feature like he was used to. Plus he said the water continues to drip out of the drip hole even after being “officially” done brewing and it takes about 25 minutes for it to truly be ready to drink without spills. Then the lid is also difficult to put on so it makes this unusable for him. I unfortunately do not drink coffee so, being unable to return it, makes this a waste of $100. UPDATE: The seller worked with me to get a decent amount of the product’s cost refunded to me even though it wasn’t a full return. I appreciate their willingness to try to make things right. ... show more

We have been using a Keurig style coffee maker for years and I continue to use it. But, if you want the perfect cup of Hot coffee, you need to purchase a product like this. Get yourself a Greater Goods Electric Conical Burr Grinder and you will enjoy the good life. The Keoffee Bloom function works great and the coffee temperature is much hotter than our iCoffee maker provides. The price for this well made Keoffee drip coffee maker with the glass carafe is a true bargain!
