The outline borrows a few characteristics from the Fish surfboard. With the widepoint pushed back and the swallow tail you'll get more performance from this surfboard than your typical softboard.

I’m 5’5” 120lbs - I bought this board to transition from an 8’ foamy board (riding well in white water), hoping to move up to green, unbroken waves. NOPE. It feels like a big boogie board, does NOT float well either. The black Kona “sun face” logo just rubbed off w/ 1st wax application. Disappointing board. The leash is a great leash at least. I bought this board because it was short enough (5'5") to easily surf the man made wave in my local river. After using it, the board seems worth it's price as it comes with fins and a leash, and seems fairly durable. The fins have rubber edges, which are especially nice for the river as they do not scratch easily on rocks. Would recommend this to a friend. ... show more
