Although this brush works well on my Weber chrome grill grates, it’s obvious it was designed for use on cast iron grill grates. I do like it though as I don’t have to worry about plastic or metal tangs getting stuck on the grill and perhaps on the food and being ingested. Also, don’t have to contend with melted plastic brushes (yes it’s happened to me) or the brush getting clogged with residue. It’s a good sturdy brush and requires little effort to clean the grates. If it does get clogged, I simply rinse it under hot water to clean. Don’t recommend using the dish washer. Overall, good brush. ... show more

i get why most companies are trying to get away from using bristles, but these are never gonna be as good. i have to get my grill super hot before i even try using this thing on a mster touch, and even then it takes a lot of effort to clean vs the older bristled kona brushes. might try one of those sponge brushes next, buti have a heck of a time trying to use this thing, even after watching their video. ... show more

It's a nice brush. It takes a little more time to clean the grill than a bristle type brush. I used it on a cast iron grill and a ceramic coated type grill. It takes more pressure to clean. It is nice that there aren't any bristles to come off though. It's a safe brush. I just need more time to get the hang of it. ... show more

It is heavy, well made quality. So well made that the 'bristles' are super-stiff...too stiff to wrap around individual grate sides and thus requires two-hand use. And all my weight. And, shockingly enough, it leaves the top surface of the grill, where your next meal goes...dirty! But, the sides are clean if you work at it. All while you are shaking the grill so much the water in your container is splashing around everywhere. Speaking of water...it doesn't hold any. So you dip, start scrubbing, and the water is immediately gone and you are dry-scubbing. Because of the two-handed use, you can't hold a water spray bottle and 'spray n' scrub' at the same time. I needed a new brush, saw this advertsied on a popular news outlet page ('and take an extra 20% off for entering the secret promo code') and knew better...lesson learned again. Expensive, trendy, looks great, looks/reviews like it is going to takeover the world of grill brushes, but does not actually survive contact with reality. ... show more

The cleaner is solid, sturdy and easy to use. I appreciated the "how to use" instructions and, while it might seem obvious, I considered them useful. I am getting my grill cleaner each time I use it and it is helping me build grill disciplines that will extend my grill's usable lifetime.
