    • A Basic HD Television — no frills!
This Television does what it says—providing a picture and sound, although the sound is not terrific. So, I hooked mine up to a pair of Bose speakers, as the televison is provisioned with different outputs and inputs, circa 2016. If you need a VGA input, it is there, too! The television tuner seems decent enough, and the output resolution for the screen is adequate, although when you are very close to the screen, you can discern the dots, Hey, I like it, because it is not always trying to connect up to WiFi, and has no camera on its front bezel to put tape over.     • Review update - ZERO response, ZERO support, ZERO value. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
UPDATE: Absolute garbage. I am now on my FOURTH contact to Amazon trying to get a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT replaced. The seller has not contacted me, at all, in response. Amazon (on my THIRD contact) rejected my A-Z claim, with the following stupidity: "The A-to-z Guarantee protects buyers when they do not receive an item or an item does not match its description. Although we understand your disappointment, you received the item and the item matched its description." Never mind that I NEVER CLAIMED that the item description didn't match. The TV started developing horizontal lines a couple of months after the first connection. If they won't respond to communication, let's see if this gets their attention... Any company that simply ignores their customer after the sale is not someone with whom I want to do "business." Sceptre will never get even another LOOK, from me. This is beyond frustrating, and EVERY time I call, the "policy" is to "contact the seller" (AGAIN). Then another "wait," varying from two days to a week. My initial attempt was back in June. No more. Amazon is starting to get on my nerves as much as the seller, and I'm starting to consider posting reviews to other sites, as well, warning people of this. ... show more

This is a decent budget TV, we used it for slideshow at a convention booth. The weight is acceptable and the lender profile is acceptable. This is a budget, friendly TV with decent picture. For some reason, we only received one foot of the stand, which attached to the TVs. We did not use This with the foot stands. I LOVE my TV so far!! It arrived in just fine condition. The picture is colorful and sharp, the sound is adequate though I may get a soundbar later. The size is pretty much just right for my living room, I wouldn't mind if it was a little bigger but that's okay. The TV is lightweight, easy to move, and it can hook up my antenna, Roku device, and even a USB for music. I'm all set, and no privacy or security concerns like with "smart" TVs. The TV is great especially for the price. I did not want a smart TV and I thought these were not made anymore, until I saw it here on Amazon. There isn't anything that I don't like about it. I don't use any of the new app, online, Alexa nor fire stick technical gadgets etc. Just wanted a standard tv. I was more impressed than the description said when received. I've had the smaller size same brand in my bedroom for years now with no problems. My different brand living room tv quit working so needed another but larger , I'm very pleased with the clarity and qaulity.
