I had a Kohler pressure tank toilet fail on me and needed to replace it. So, I went looking for one with good rinsing ability and one that was one piece. This toilet seemed to fit my needs so I ordered it. Here is what I found: 1. CHECK your measurements from your prior toilet first to ensure if you have a rug that this toilet base will fit!!!! This base is longer and narrower then my original Kohler so I had to really do some piecing together of rug scraps to make this look right!! Not the fault of the toilet, just the fault of the fact that there are NO standards for base size. 2. This toilet ships with the older style toilet seat which means it is NOT a quick release and it is NOT a soft close model. Had to go back online and order the elongated soft close toilet seat!!! 3. This toilet sits a bit higher so you will want to ensure that your water valve line is long enough. Actually, I would just recommend changing out your connection line to a new one anyway. If you are unfortunate enough to have one of the fake stops where you cannot change the connection line, ENSURE you will have enough length before ordering this toilet or you will wind up having to change out the valve!!! 4. So, all of that install stuff out of the way, how does it work? It works VERY well!! Makes kind of a strange sound, but still manages to clear the bowl with less water!!! Washing is good, but not spectacular. Most times it is clean after a flush. In four months, I have NOT had to go out to get a plunger once for this toilet where I had to for a Rialto toilet in my other bathroom. The only thing strange is the flush handle flushes opposite to what the old one did. Not a big deal, just an adjustment. 5. The toilet height is great! Made hip replacement surgery easier as it places the seat high enough to be able to easily get up without issues and no need to install grab bars or a seat height booster. 6. I found the weight to be easier to manage so I was able to place this toilet by myself without problems. All in all, I am pleased with the functionality and looks of the toilet. I just feel taken on the fact that I had to go out and buy the toilet seat that is listed with the product in the current literature!!! I guess that means I just managed to get old stock!! ... show more

    • This Toilet Looks Beautiful, Sitting is Another Thing

This toilet looks sleek, modern, and beautiful. The picture does not do it justice. I replaced a normal height one piece toilet with this higher model. Once you have a one piece toilet, you will not want to have a two piece again because of the appearance. Even the tank lid fits flush all the way around and does not hang over the top of the tank like a regular lid. I received it within three business days of ordering and the polite freight driver parked it inside my home where I asked him to. That beats curbside delivery hands down! I get lots of deliveries and you do not want to have to lug a 90 lb toilet from the street into your home or business. When I arrived home the day it was installed I walked into the bathroom and was struck by how nice it looked. Other than opening the top of the box upon arrival to make sure that it was not broken, I had not seen it out of the box. It shipped complete with the tank parts and toilet seat. You will only need to supply a wax ring and connection hose to the wall. The bowl size is quite large - much larger appearing than my older toilet. When you flush it, the bowl completely empties and I have not had to flush twice. I am very satisfied regarding the performance of this toilet. The flush handle is not near the front of the tank. It's on the side, so if you are not great at reaching, this might not be for you. Now for the only downside - the seat digs into your legs/thighs when you sit on it - LOL! I will explain: The toilet seat that comes with it is also sleek looking and was probably designed to go with this model toilet. It is not even width all the way around. It's an elongated seat and the back part is wider and it narrows towards the front. It almost feels like you are sitting on a railing. I am 5' 3 so maybe if I were taller this would not be a problem. I own another high height (cheap Glacier Bay Home Depot) toilet in my business and there is not a "pain" issue when sitting down. I have had this installed for about three weeks and I have not gotten used to this yet. Normally a person would have by now. I suppose replacing the seat is an option, however, part of the appearance of this toilet is the sleekness and specially designed seat. So the toilet is definitely a 5 power flushes every thing 1st go looks nice in our basement the install should have been easy there is 2 caveats 1...the bottom of the toilet was un even the back of it had to be wedged to stabilize it from rocking a little we put a level on the floor and it was in bubble close. The one we replaced was fine.. You can see how the bottom of it bows a little from front to back just by eyeing it mfr defect but we had already thrown the box out. 2. The top lid on tank does not fit evenly but it's not way out of range ...Outside of this it's a really nice looking toilet and does it's job ... show more
